• Responsible for the application of systems, standards, work instructions and procedures for safety, quality and HMEx (Hygiene Manufacturing Excellence) (it is the equivalent of TPM)
• Is responsible for the operation results SQCDM (Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery & Morale) related to his/her area of responsibility
• Applies DDS (Daily Direction Setting) methodology to create and run to standards
• Accountable for Performance Management process and responsible for consequence management within his/her department
• Accountable for monthly group reports to SCA Asia Pacific headquarters and MLT presentations covering main KPIs and events within Manufacturing; provides information for performance and best practices benchmarking with other SCA manufacturing sites.
• Member of Safety & Health Committee, steering identification and correction of unsafe conditions and promotion of a safe and healthy working environment. Steers continuous revision of safety and health policies and procedures to ensure their relevancy.

Budget:
• Directly approves department's expenses and establishes budget control systems to govern expenditures; is a resource to the development of capital expenditure requests, providing information for investments justifications.

Strategy:
• Contributes to the annual strategic planning process; responsible to ensure implications and consequences of the approved strategic plan are reflected in the groups plans and budgets.
• Ensure goals and priorities are achieved on time. Provide guidance and coach team in order to meet their respective job purposes and company’s objectives.

Leadership:
• Provides overall direction and leadership to the Manufacturing team; continuously coach team members in order to improve skills and effectiveness.
• Coaches, mentors and develops subordinates to the maximum of their capacity; empowers and motivates subordinates to achieve results and drives this culture throughout the organization.
