Over the past 16 years, I've had the pleasure of working with companies at various stages of growth and discovered my passion for cultivating high-performing teams that value critical thinking and autonomy. As a design leader, I believe in empowering designers to challenge strategic decisions, express their design decisions, and think independently. By using situational leadership techniques, I practice identifying each designer's individual needs and provide guidance or space for exploration as needed. Creating a supportive work environment is crucial for success, and I work closely with other leaders in the organization to promote inclusivity, establish clear processes and structures, and remove any unnecessary work. What I love most about my work is helping people discover their own path of growth through cultivating awareness, openness, and discernment.
