**2024: Sabbatical to write 4th book (this one's BIG) releasing fall 2025** As Obi-Wan Kenobi would say, "Hello there." A VP for UN women USA, provocatrice, attorney, & law professor turned international negotiation paladin 🦸🏻‍♀️ . . . I activate women to harness the power of everyday negotiation, so they can confidently show up in all aspects of their lives - from getting a toddler to their eat peas to being the most powerful person in the room. I authored the Little Black Dress of negotiation books (smart, stylish, versatile). Because negotiation isn’t just for business. It’s everybody’s business. (But you don't need me to "empower" you; nor do I sell a masterclass, coaching, or certification from my own "institute") A World Mediation Org World Peace Activist, I'm a benevolent & incurable explorer (dubbed "creative savant" - you know who you are) who has disrupted the status quo a few times. 🤷🏻‍♀️ I dare greatly, live vibrantly & struggle purposefully. A little wild at heart, I channel these traits into advocacy, teaching, writing, broadcasting, philanthropy, art & sports. Polyglot; passionate about people & social progress; JEDI agent (not a Star Wars reference). I've practiced law in the private, public & non-profit sectors; & teach internationally, including 2 decades as faculty at 2 University of California law schools. So fun, & practiced all my languages! I get it that people are messy multitudes - & how we act in real conflict/ decision-making. What distinguishes me? Deep experience in negotiation, including behavioral economics, game theory, super cool training in emotional micro-expression, lie detection, & integration of neuroscience & decision analysis. Plus, I know the #1 most stealth negotiation skill 😎 (Kinda like x-ray vision. Hint: it's not "speaking your truth.") WHAT I'M NOT: (1) a sales/marketing guy who bases my expertise on a "masterclass;" (2) a brand; (3) your income stream Special needs parent & advocate, chaos doesn't faze me & I'm persistent. I'm CEO of a 501c3 nonprofit providing dogs & sibs support to families with special needs kids. Turn-ons: cake, shoes, decent literature Turn-offs: NIMBYism, vapid social media buzzwords, elitism But what you really want to know is my Meyers-Briggs type: ENFJ-A (2% of population - same as Obama & Oprah) Read more on my website, but . . .
