As an experienced financial professional, Mark is skilled in investment advisory, financial/tax/estate planning, business development, and management. Mark is Vice President of Strategy at Mariner Independent. He is responsible for overseeing the strategic direction of Mariner Independent’s advisory platform. He also heads up the firm’s practice management team. Passionate about driving the wealth management industry forward, Mark leads various initiatives to continue to differentiate Mariner’s offering and provide advisors with the best tools and resources to better serve their clients and grow their businesses. He is active in the fintech space and manages a variety of projects to expand and scale the firm’s service offering, with an emphasis on continuously improving and modernizing the experience. Mark graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics with a minor in global studies. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional. A lifetime learner, his professional interests include finance, fintech, management and entrepreneurship. Mark enjoys working with people. Outside the office, he participates in a variety of charitable endeavors. He lives in Los Angeles and has a passion for the outdoors, enjoying camping, fishing, skiing and golf.
