It’s true that innovation is disruptive. But it doesn’t have to be chaotic. In fact, innovation can spur growth and bring order to chaos. Innovation is a problem-solving skill. It stems from looking at old problems in new ways and creating solutions that not only meet the need but redefine possibilities for growing revenues and expanding businesses. From creating new products to formulating marketing strategies to designing business processes, I’ve invented my own solutions or found inventive new ways to combine existing ones into powerful, profitable catalysts for marketing and technology transformations. By employing data-informed, technology-powered approaches to marketing leadership, I have navigated brands away from inefficient, “hit-or-miss” marketing and toward well-integrated, targeted, human-centered solutions. In my early career, I architected, built, and patented a Marketing Asset Management system. The system was adopted by a number of big brands across multiple industries, transforming their businesses by streamlining marketing initiatives and slashing turnaround times from months, in some cases, to mere days. Successful strategies require a balance between deep expertise and broad knowledge. My collaborations with numerous talented individuals and partnerships with agencies and tech firms across Pharma, Healthcare, Finance, Entertainment, and Retail have not only expanded my own knowledge but gave me the expertise to mentor other leaders in building successful, profitable digital marketing businesses. As an executive, I’ve led initiatives to integrate disparate, disjointed technologies and connect the audience, channel, data, and delivery “dots” necessary for implementing a fluid, engaging omnichannel experience. Career wins: - More than tripled revenues for a consulting firm’s Digital practice, from $4.5M to $15.5M over 4 years - Rocketed the value of one brand’s share of market to over $888M in just two years. - Radically boosted a product’s brand recognition and customer engagement, adding 3k new social media followers in 90 days and earning 92 leads/month. Of course, success (or failure) rarely rests on the shoulders of a single person. Throughout my career, I’ve focused on hiring and developing internal teams of brilliant professionals committed to expanding our problem-solving and innovation capabilities. I’ve also nurtured and leveraged my industry partnerships to gain access to top talent to augment and elevate my teams through collaboration, when necessary and beneficial to the initiative.
