I am an executive creative director and technology leader, specializing in emerging media and 0 to 1 innovation. I work across product, design & art to invent the next-generation of content experiences. In 2024, I was featured by Business Insider in their "2024 AI Power List".

🎥 Technology: Made possible with Veo 3 + Nano Banana, creating worlds cameras could never capture.

For me, this is the cultural frontier of AI: 
⚡️ Not automation, but imagination. 
⚡️ Not replacing artists, but giving them a new canvas. 
⚡️ A fundamentally new way to tell symbolic stories.

🎛️ Control has always been the heart of animation. 🎨 

Most AI tools still feel like prompt and pray. What Douglas McGinness III is building with Tether points to something further: AI that can actually be directed.

🕹️  By bringing steerability into After Effects, nulls, keyframes, comp sizes , Tether seems to shift the balance back to the creator. You keep authorship, and the machine adapts.

✨ That’s the essence of where I think this should all be going:
AI as liquid, flowing into existing tools, workflows, and formats, but always respecting the hand of the artist.

And now Wan 2.2 Animate makes that performance travel further, capturing motion from video, preserving character consistency, syncing expressions, and carrying it into animation.

Why it matters:
🎨 Indie power: any creator can turn a performance into expressive animation without big rigs or pipelines.
⚡ Hybrid workflows: faster pre-viz, prototyping, advertising, storytelling.
🌍 Cultural shift: our gestures, our bodies, our acting remain the source, AI just extends them into new forms and formats.
