I'm a junior VC dedicated to bridging the gap between Korea and the globe. I am deeply interested in climate tech, impact investing, consumer tech, or any other field contributing to a sustainable society. I worked as an intern in a corporate venture capital of CJ, one of the largest Korean corporate giants. My career journey has led me through the vibrant landscapes of Nordic and Korean startups. I played a pivotal role in customer onboarding and managing key projects at Moi Panda, a fast-growing Edtech startup in Finland. Moi Panda is the only Nordic startup selected for the prestigious Cambridge Social Ventures program in 2023 Spring. At Motov, a leading Urban Tech startup in South Korea, I was entrusted with crafting a GTM plan for a newly launched service. This endeavor involved conducting in-depth FGI and extensive market research. I am currently pursuing an MBA degree from KAIST, the No.1 business school in South Korea, specializing in business analytics. I have also actively engaged in various academic and professional programs, such as the Aalto University student exchange program, Solve the SDGs Hackathon, and the KAIST Case Competition, where I received the 3rd place award for analyzing Krafton, a leading game company in Korea. Before embarking on my MBA journey, I spent four enriching years as a business journalist. During this time, I covered a wide spectrum of Korean companies, from industry giants to emerging startups. My reporting also extended to exploring ESG issues and tracking the surging trends in investments within the Korean market. My profound passion lies in startups, venture capital, accelerators, and entrepreneurship, and I aspire to contribute to the ongoing innovation and growth of the global startup ecosystem. I am particularly enthusiastic about working in a multicultural environment and aiding companies in their exploration of opportunities on different continents.
