I’m a trainer who, like many, was forced to move online in the Spring of 2020. When everything went virtual, my next workshop was a half-day team training. The first thought to go through my head was, “How can I make this session feel like anything but a 3-hr Zoom call?!” So I got to work. Learning everything I could about online presenting. And then something interesting happened. After every virtual session, participants asked me how I ran the workshop more than about the actual workshop itself. Ever since, I’ve been teaching others how to create more professional, engaging, and seamless online live presentations. Because the status quo right now? It's bad. Most people still dread getting on 'another' virtual call. But it doesn't have to be that way. And getting better is not as complicated as you think.
