Overall responsibility for the UK Motorcycle business strategy and performance in unit sales and profitability for both Honda and Dealer. This includes running the UK Honda Racing operations for all domestic motorcycle racing activities.
Key achievements:
•	Designed and implemented a new strategy based on the current market situation
•	Grown sales annually
•	Increased profitability for the business
•	Restructured business terms to stimulate growth and deliver higher Dealer returns
•	Implemented a national structure for prospect and lead management
•	Introduced the “Montesa” product range in to UK market and created a specific distribution channel
•	Created a completely revised year/business terms and structure for the “Off Road” network aligned to current market situation and achieved 35% volume growth in 3 years
•	Enhanced existing and developed new successful customer experiences for product demonstration

A varied role covering the following business areas; business terms and incentive programmes, retail experience and franchising for the 7 Franchises (Car, Motorcycle, Marine, L&G, ATV, Energy and Industrial).
Included Dealer financial management and property portfolio management.

What I have achieved:
•	Revised market strategy for Car in line with brand volume aspirations

•	Developed the Retail Experience Project into a full UK programme
•	Revised the Mystery Shop programme to reflect current customer needs
•	Developed first Mystery Shop programme for Motorcycles
•	Restructured department to reflect new and future business needs
•	Negotiated new site opportunities with existing dealer groups

Head of Network Development

National Motorcycle Sales for Honda
•	Deliver and develop national retail sales volume aspirations through the franchised dealer network 
•	Built and managed a team of sales and business finance managers to deliver volume and profit aspirations for Honda and network profitability
•	Began development of the first fleet platform in the motorcycle industry

National Sales Manager

A role requiring a broad skill set for the research, development and implementation of the national brand direction while ensuring this was achieved with strategic alignment throughout Honda.  

What I have achieved:
•	Evolution of customer experience and project tools to maximise customer satisfaction and deliver higher customer conversion rates for the Dealer network
•	Delivered the new Franchise standards document and process
•	Created and launched the new image and customer proposition for the Approved Used Car Programme
•	Developed and delivered national training for the field team on mystery shop coaching, franchise standards compliance and used car market share analysis.

Retail Experience Manager

Midlands HONDA (UK) Cars. 
This role focussed on developing 10 Car franchise sites to achieve Honda and my personal business growth aspirations.  Plan and deliver each Franchisee's performance via leadership, consultation and offer management support to management teams, directors and business owners.  Key areas undertaken are summarised below.

The training and development of sales teams and senior management. Analysis of management information to enable restructuring of specific areas within the business.  Delivery of accurate sales forecasts to Honda.  Production of short and long term business plans for the region.  The review customer satisfaction indices and plan for improvements.

Key achievements; designed a dealer analysis matrix adopted by the Northern division.  Instigated and chaired stakeholder meetings.  Developed successful regional sales strategies. Future business vision development and presentation to all departments.

Area Sales Manager

A sales, marketing and consultancy role with 25 key accounts. 
Development of the individual dealer, the network and brand market position.
Key activities: advising on suppliers & systems, promotions & dealer events, organising training, demographic analysis to determine sales potential, order scheduling, product launches, site development and relocation. 
Selection, assessment and signing of new franchisees and review of existing.

Retail Operations Manager & Area Manager

A sales, marketing and consultancy role with 25 key accounts focussing on the development of the individual dealer, the network and brand market position.

Advising on suppliers & systems, promotions & dealer events, organising training, demographic analysis to determine sales potential, order scheduling, product launches, site development and relocation.   Home based operation requiring high levels of motivation and organisational discipline.

Goodyear

Specifically working with the Hi-Q retail arm of Goodyear focussed on:
Developing sales levels through Dealer Partners and Franchisees.
Involvement with quality and operational standards. Initiate sales campaigns on product lines. 
Developing strong relationships to influence direction in line with personal and company objectives

Business Development Manager

A diverse relationship management role focussed on the development of Key Account base within region requiring the following skills and responsibilities.  

Negotiate and implement sales targets and leverage programmes with clients.  Implement multi-level pricing strategies across product range.  Create and develop client's promotional initiatives and liaise with advertising agencies.  Gather marketing information and competitive analysis data.  Assess potential and determine sales forecasts by customer and distribution channel.  

Key Achievements; Custom brand cup: Won consecutively 1st & 2nd Qtr 1999.

Area Manager Dealer Sales

Johnson Cleaners UK Ltd

Manager of two retail outlets in succession with full managerial responsibility following a six month fast track development programme.

As Branch manager the key role included; stock control, accounts and weekly book work, developing in-store advertising and promotions, ensuring that targets in key areas of sales are met, creating new custom, conducting quality audits, liaising with customers and making a profit.  Skills in staff recruitment, management, coaching and development were also required.

A dynamic and extensive career in commercial environments developing networks, organisations, structures and people with the objective of maximising sales, profits, sustainability and longevity. 

I work as a business coach/mentor for executives and businesses looking to move forward as well as Co-founder for a new automotive group focussed on customer journey and sales development.  I also hold positions as a non-executive director and support local charity work.
