I've been at the helm of Kleurvision Inc. for 12 years and continue to drive it into new areas of exploration. I have recently joined the ranks of Startup Canada, assisting in delivering a digital platform that will connect like minded entrepreneurs to an ecosystem that is next to impossible to navigate. I apply critical thinking to everything that I do, and do so with extraordinary passion. I love my community, my family, and my career path. I haven't worked a day since 2000. A bit of background. I am a formally trained graphic designer turned creative director and marketing experimenter. My experience has stemmed from many areas including fashion, music, and traditional arts. Through the desire to create I taught myself to code and build things that individuals can interact with and experience. In 2004 I founded Kleurvision Inc., and in 2006 I was a founding member of my first failed startup Blindfive Clothing (followed by Blindfive Music Syndicate in 2008). Since then I have been a partner on 5 additional startups, one of which has seen its first round of VC funding in the health tech field. I've also invested in startups along the way. Today I am particularly interested in expanding knowledge in bridging experiential marketing with digital technologies and working with startups that have technology challenges, especially as they relate to the Internet of Things. A bit of a unicorn. I can design, code (PHP/JS/CSS), and sell platform and service. At the same time I'm able to operate in a C-level environment. I grow businesses.
