How I helped a well-known offshore wind company hire a key senior candidate so they could win more projects and expand their portfolio… This particular client is a giant in the offshore wind sector and are currently building up their team to deliver a cluster of large projects offshore. This next hire for them was critical for the business and with-out it risked losing out on large scale projects to competitors in addition to having key decisions delayed that could impact the progress of expansion in the UK. They needed an individual that could influence and liaise with the right people at governmental and political level. Someone who could be a conduit for the business and have strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and someone to negate challenges and mitigate risks to ensure sustainability and growth. They also needed to have strong influence with trade and governing bodies to ensure compliance is adhered too. I was working against two other well-known, large scale agencies.
