Pavon Dunbar's Linkedin Analytics

Hello, and thank you for visiting my part of the LinkedIn universe. My name is Pavon Dunbar, and I specialize in Linux Systems Administration, DevOps Engineering, and Blockchain Development. I guess you can say I am a "backend" kinda guy. Moving along... I enjoy setting up VPS (virtual private servers) in the "cloud", configuring, securing, and deploying them. In addition, I also enjoy "breaking" these servers so I can use code to repair them without having to reinstall them and starting over. Furthermore, I like to "attack" my servers to test how secure they are under stressful conditions. My favorite OS (operating system) is definitely Linux. Favorite distro is Ubuntu (because most Blockchain development applications recommend Ubuntu); however, I also like CentOs and Windows. I have a keen interest in Blockchain development and cryptocurrency creation and investing. Currently, I am deploying and testing EVMs (Ethereum Virtual Machines) as well as Multichain, Corda, EOS, Tron, and Cardano. All of this is being done via the command line. I'm not saying I dislike GUIs (graphical user interfaces); I just prefer the command line and the unlimited power it gives to its user (as long as you invoke sudo...haha ;-)) Anyway, although I am no expert (and I do not claim to be), I do consider myself proficient or having knowledge of the following: Data & Server Security Cryptocurrency Investing & Trading Blockchain HTML5 CSS3 WordPress Linux JavaScript (including ES6) mySQL Docker AWS (including S3 & EC2) ...and I am currently learning on my own free time: Python C++ Golang ReactJS AngularJS VueJS MongoDB Kubernetes The technological world is ever changing. It gives individuals like myself the opportunity to learn new things everyday. That is why I love this industry so much and I am proud to be a part of this dynamic field.
