A seasoned leader, visionary, and accomplished negotiator, Phil has a track record of success creating, protecting, and growing business ventures. His expansive experience includes 14-years in brand protection, loss prevention, and risk management. Additionally, Phil was a highly successful broadcaster and broadcast manager in radio and television for a period of 15 years, culminating in him receiving the Canadian Association of Broadcasters Gold Ribbon Award for ‘Station of the Year’. Subsequently, he created several companies including a successful marketing/advertising agency, with divisions in video production, creative, infomercials, and a separate market research company. Today, Phil’s leadership role at REN Energy includes overseeing off-take negotiations and relations with FortisBC as well as feedstock supply contracts. Phil holds certification as a Certified Risk Management Professional (ISO-NASPO) and received his post-secondary education at Ryerson Polytechnic and Mohawk College in Ontario.
