I am a Pay Per Click Marketing and Web Analytics Professional with over 20 years of experience in the online world. I founded Positive Sparks Marketing Ltd, a commission based PPC agency that works with e-commerce brands across the world to generate more sales and optimise their conversion rates. My passion is to help businesses grow and scale online via a share of the revenue generated by our PPC campaigns, rather than ongoing fixed fees. I also a past host of the Digital Sparks podcast, where I previously interviewed established voices in web marketing, online productivity, and digital entrepreneurship. I have multiple publications on remote working and digital nomadism and am always looking for new challenges and opportunities to collaborate with like-minded professionals and clients.

ROAS targets that actually scale your e-commerce business. 1. If you don't know your target, you'll either overspend or miss out. 2. You must have enough buffer to handle increased spend. Low margins? Scaling could hurt you. 3. Can your stock handle a sudden demand spike? Running out of stock mid-scaling? Not good. 4. Double down on products that already meet your ROAS target. Ensure your ROI consistently hits the target over several weeks. Gradually increase your budget—don’t go big too fast. Ever wonder why some brands can 10x their ad spend while others crash? I've noticed most sellers either: - Overspend too early  - Scale too conservatively - Miss the inventory piece completely There's a massive difference between "just profitable" and "scalable." Most businesses can make $1.10 for every $1 spent. But truly scalable businesses maintain strong margins as spend increases. What's your Growth ROI number? What if your remarketing traffic didn’t land on the same old product pages? 👀 We’ve been testing out Shopbox AI, and one of the features that’s really stood out is its ability to create dynamic, personalised shopping pages. Here’s why that matters for PPC and remarketing: Each visitor sees different products on the same URL, based on their past behaviour on your site. What they’ve browsed, clicked, or added to cart helps shape what shows up next. So when you run remarketing ads, you’re sending people back to a page that feels relevant — even though the ad link is the same for everyone. It gives us a smarter, more intent-driven destination for paid traffic and helps improve conversion rates without overcomplicating campaign setup. 💬 As Alan from Shopbox AI put it: "Most retailers don’t link personalisation with acquisition or merchandising. Positive Sparks are ahead of the curve—exploring how PPC and personalisation can work together to turn ad clicks into seamless, high-converting customer journeys. It's a pleasure to be working with them on this." Still early days, but the potential here is big. If you’re running paid traffic and looking for ways to make your remarketing work harder, it’s well worth a look. #PPC #Shopify #ShopboxAI #ecommerce #remarketing #CRO #paidmedia #personalisation

Worried about how the new US tariffs will hit your ad performance? You're not alone. We've been looking at how PPC could actually help brands adapt to the changes. ✅ Some competitors might pull back their spend ✅ Shoppers may start buying sooner to avoid price rises ✅ There's a chance to rethink ROAS targets and work in new channels like affiliates and influencers It’s not about guessing or panicking. It’s about spotting where you could gain ground and making a few smart moves. I’ve pulled together a short PDF with a few practical ideas. Worth a flick through if you’re selling into the US or thinking about how to stay profitable in the months ahead. 👇 Check it out and let me know what you think. Soon you’ll be able to run LinkedIn Ads... through Microsoft Ads If you’re already running Google or Microsoft Ads, this could be a big shift. Microsoft has announced that LinkedIn Ads will soon be accessible via the Microsoft Ads platform. This could open up a lot for brands who want to reach B2B audiences without having to manage separate platforms. ✅ Easier management alongside search and display campaigns ✅ New ways to cross-test audiences ✅ Potentially faster setups for LinkedIn-focused remarketing Early days yet, and no doubt there’ll be some teething problems. But if Microsoft gets this right, it could make LinkedIn advertising far more accessible for businesses that have been sitting on the fence. We’ll be keeping a close eye on this. Definitely one to watch if B2B or high-ticket leads are part of your growth plan. What do you think? Will this make you more likely to test LinkedIn Ads? 👇 #PPC #MicrosoftAds #LinkedInAds #B2BMarketing #PaidMedia #DigitalMarketing #PerformanceMarketing
