CONFESSION: 😅 I tracked every minute of every day for three months.. The results were damning! As someone who preaches systems, processes and planning to clients and the team, I knew I was spending far too much time on similar tasks, and I needed to do something about it. Two of the the biggest culprits? - Creating presentations (8.7 hours weekly) - Email management (12.2 hours weekly) Tie the above in with my near-obsession with AI and how we can utilise it in the agency to benefit both ourselves and our clients. I took the thing I spent the most time on and built a simple AI tool that … - Scans incoming emails and categorises by priority - Creates draft responses for 80% of my communications, in my own tone, based on previous responses and my personal preferences Next steps..extracts action items and adds them to our project management system After a few weeks now I’m saving about 8 hours a week with my email The emails I thought required my full attention actually followed predictable patterns that AI could handle with the right training. This is just one example of how we're implementing AI strategically at eComOne. More time focused on the 20% of activities that drive real growth in the agency - client strategy, team development and our podcast. This straightforward addition to the team's 'tech stack' will save us over £50k a year in time throughout the business. This really got me thinking and last week we announced what were calling the  'The AI Games'  Challenging our teams to develop practical AI solutions for both our agency and our clients.
