Unfortunately my part of the journey came to an end far too soon due to COVID financial conditions.

Specifically responsible for the LATAM marketplace in total. Founding member of FWI's Diversity and Inclusion efforts. 

Initially collaborated across functions to build new partner models, commercial partner agreement, and routes to market. Recruited, signed, and enabled large new alliances and partnerships that created net new opportunities for the direct sales team. Grew North American revenue from partners 60% YTY from 2017 -2018. Made significant contributions to Diversity and Inclusion purpose creation, program creation, and initial results.

Position was eliminated in February 2019 prior to the acquisition by Vista Equity Partners.

Vice President, Global Alliances and Partnerships and LATAM

Channel Enablers, a Miller Heiman Group business

Served as Managing Director of Channel Enablers, a dedicated alliance and channel sales enablement consultancy within Miller Heiman - focused on the enablement of client leadership to improve the results of their teams and their partners. Responsible for all engagement and sales functions for the division - from delivery of projects, to global sales consultants and operational sales groups, interfacing with cross-functional teams and overseeing marketing and product functions. 

Personally engaged with clients in technology, medical device, financial services, global manufacturing and other industries - awarding me the opportunity to help design and improve the effectiveness of their alliance and channel leadership models and in turn influence what those partners can do to drive more consistent revenue home. Grew the division by 50% post-integration.

Culminated this period with the development, publication, and implementation of The Hybrid Sales Channel, the first methodology ever in the industry on the subject of the hybrid of direct and indirect sales. https://tinyurl.com/y228k7nj

Responsible for growing North American business and global clients through leading teams to have direct impact on sales productivity through sales enablement and transformational projects Contributed to 5 straight years of Miller Heiman profit and revenue growth during this period in the largest sales consultancy in the world.

Worked in a process-driven manner, selling and delivering services into disciplined, high-pace companies helping them transform direct sales into data-driven engines. Worked in a variety of industries across G2000 companies:  technology, healthcare, pharma, financial services, telecommunications, manufacturing, insurance. 

Very hands-on involvement in every client project, working to align their desired results with the right approach, governance, leadership methodology, deployment, coaching, training, and reinforcement.

Employing nearly 180,000 people, Carlson is one of the largest private companies in the world, encompassing more than 2300 hotels and restaurants, one of the world's largest B2B travel companies, a Top 3 marketing services company, a luxury cruise line, and a network of B2C travel agencies. At this $8B global company, I led a team of six cross-company Chief Sales Officers across different business units to create, enable and implement a cross-enterprise model for sales leadership, strategic account management and sales effectiveness. Designed and executed a unique partner strategy, engaging companies that were suppliers across divisions of Carlson to participate in the cross-division strategic account strategies to drive more Carlson business.

My personal focus is from the outside-in:  how does the end customer experience growth, success, and value - and what can a company and its partners and alliances do to align with their customers to create the highest degree of customer success. 

This is no longer a "hero" environment, it takes everyone pulling on their oar with perfection and the courage to depend on the others in the boat to carry out their role so you can focus on your own search for excellence.
