He is a Microsoft Certified Trainer and an Azure DevOps Expert, with over two years of experience as a Subject Matter Expert at CloudThat, a leading cloud training and consulting company.

He has delivered consulting projects as well as online and on-site trainings on Azure Development and DevOps to well-known corporate giants, as well as custom trainings on topics such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Kubernetes Service, Terraform on Azure & Atlasssian products. He was also part of a large-scale Microsoft project to train over 1 lakh college students on Software Development Fundamentals for the A.P. Govt as well as part of numerous Technical Application Workshops organized by Microsoft.
He holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Sharda University, and has a background in software development and graphic design. He is also a full-stack developer, proficient in .NET, Python, and other languages, and was an Adobe Certified Trainer for Illustrator, InDesign, and Creative Cloud.

After I quit my Full-Time role at CloudThat I had aspirations of being a solopreneur and helping businesses grow. 

Although, I was getting ample opportunities for doing that, but the time investment was too great to wait for things to come my way and without much financial backup I could not create opportunities of my own. 

So as a last resort, I started applying to other full-time roles as I already was starting to get offers and after a month of ensuing struggle, I finally got into EPAM India as they were looking for people skilled in Data DevOps domain, primarily Azure.

I am quite happy with the offer I got and would like to thank Om Prakash Panda for bringing to me the lucrative opportunity. Here are some lessons I learnt along the way to my new role:

1. It is exciting to be self-employed and it gives you the opportunity to push yourself forward and learn a lot, but it is not worth it if after a certain period of time things are not moving forward & you can be doing good as an employee, while getting highly paid for your skills.
2. Always try to stay in touch with your previous employers & managers as it gives you the opportunity to work with them in the future if they have any requirement.
3. Make sure to upgrade the skills you have acquired in your previous role in the time you are not working and look for opportunities to contribute for the same skills. Your next role can be based on any of the skills you have previously used or learnt. 
4. If you also fall into the same situation as me and you have been trying to get back to a full time role after a break, ensure you try to get it as quickly as possible as if the career gap is too much, it raises a concern for the hiring team & can be difficult to justify. 
5. Also, know that the hiring cycles are from Jan-April & August-October & most of the hiring happens at this time for majority of the companies. So, you have to try to get hired during this time while polishing your skills.

I am thankful to CloudThat for helping me to develop skills that are really valued in the industry. Although I would be not able to work as a Solopreneur for now but I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Senior System Engineer at EPAM Systems!

AI for Everyone? My Meetup Mishap (in a Good Way)

Let's be honest, tech meetups can get same-old, same-old.  So, with a thirst for something new (outside my usual AI domain at CellStrat), I ventured out to the intriguingly named "Tech Nibba & Nibbis" meetup by Vandit Jain

This new group surprised me!  Instead of the usual suspects, I found a vibrant mix:

* A bright-eyed engineering student
* A cloud whiz from a top 3 global petroleum company in Bankok (who knew?)
* A developer from a popular Indian gaming company.
* A fashion startup scaling their business with tech.
* A team from a UAV startup.
* A corporate gifting company professional.
* A retail owner embracing technology in an innovative way to get customers walk into his retail outlets to take his business to the next level.

Each person brought a unique perspective, and the conversation flowed. But one theme kept recurring: "How can I jump on the AI bandwagon?"

There's no doubt #AI is hot right now. Everyone wants a piece of the action. But here's the not-so-secret secret (with a hint of humor): the big money in AI often comes from global clients, not always domestic ones.

Despite that reality check, the meetup was a blast. It was refreshing to connect with this enthusiastic tech crowd, and I'm definitely going to attend more!
