My team and I supported over 600 Agents and 93 Agencies nationally through training and development including a rigorous process of developing customized marketing plans, creation of over 3,800 customized marketing requests per year, coordination of support with execution, campaign tracking and results reporting. Annual I developed budgets to support the upcoming years business plans and objectives and most recently managed a $2M+ budget.  As a core skill I managed cross-functional lead-generating business initiatives and led a high performance team of 14 employees. Integral to my role was the strategic planning and project management of key initiatives, including developing the 'Local Marketing Fund' which financially supported marketing activities for Agents and Agencies.

National Field Marketing Manager 

I assisted 143 Agents and 22 Agencies regionally with marketing training including developing marketing business strategies with customized marketing plans (both traditional and digital).  This process resulted in the development of over 1,000 customized marketing campaign requests per year. Support included ongoing coaching, coordination of resources, assistance with the execution, and business success monitoring through tracking and business analytics.

I managed all aspects of this start-up insurance brokerage, from strategy to tactical daily operations (sales, service, and renewal), personnel management, sales forecasting, budgeting, marketing, operational performance, RIBO reporting, legal licensing compliance, fiduciary responsibilities, and tax remittance.

As the Business Lead, I effectively managed the development, workflows, supporting documentation and reports for the online Auto Quick Quote suite for three provinces. This required my working collaboratively in a project team environment across the organization, Product Operations, IT (Canada and India) Legal, and the Customer Contact Centre .

I was responsible for recruitment, training, and coaching of nine employees focused on personal lines sales and service operations. My role was to manage commercial lines process strategies and delivery of tactical commercial lines solutions across Canada.  To achieve this I managed the national commercial small business quoting system including the responsibility of project management of enhancements, broad market place adoption, pricing risk factors and acting as lead for field support.  A key responsibility was also the development of workflows and design to drive efficiencies and cost savings.

While managing a high performance team focused on broker relationship management issues, I lead the creation of a compelling vision to develop the broker relationship management operational and strategic objectives.    I effectively managed the ongoing refinement, development, training and marketing of the national broker relationship management database, including the development and coordination of divisional initiatives such as the national online broker survey, strategic and tactical e-mail database, broker competitor P&C market information and contingent profit program for brokers.  To assist with the development of measurable KPIs, I developed excel based tools to assist branch operations (i.e. sales planner, cross-sell/up-sell sales tools, segmentation tool, loss ratio analysis tool, and score card).

I effectively managed the underwriting, claims and broker management issues of a 12MM portfolio, appointed new brokers and actively underwrote new commercial lines insurance. Another core accomplishment included the development of an excel based quoting application that streamlined processes which helped the marketing team realize immediate timesaving and efficiency gains.
