“Success is falling nine times and getting up ten.” — Jon Bon Jovi Yes “Getting up” with strength & keep moving on with courage is exactly what remains the need of the hour. This “Resilience” had shaped my career from my initial industry days till now & helped to reach credible milestones in Procurement & Supply Chain domain & gaining enriched 20+ years of work experience spread across wide industry segments. It’s been a thrilling, roller coaster of a ride with many ups & downs in this deeply satisfying professional journey. I started my professional education journey in 1996 while studying Instrumentation & Control Engineering from Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra.(Haryana). Post 4.5 years of industry experience, I went on to pursue fast track MBA in Engineering Management from Coventry University, U.K in Jan-2005. During this 1st overseas exposure key learnings were derived from time management & evolving in the fast paced multi-cultural & multi-ethnic environment & striving for quality results. Retail industry initial stint taught how to accomplish tasks & setting goals with no excuses at any stages. Herein I learnt the valuable skill of Conflict management & maintaining cordial relations without compromising the integrity & ethics. The Project based Capital Procurement (INR 50 crores) & execution along with Direct & In-Direct procurement was experienced during my stint with setting up of p7 News electronic media channel. Since 2012, a steep learning curve along with a never say die attitude complemented my memorable stay with Indian Food, snacks & sweets giant Haldiram’s-Noida. Spearheaded the Procurement & stores operations for annual spend of INR 150 crores leading a strongly mentored team size of 9 persons. In my current profile from 2017 onwards the initial handling of core logistics, contracts management & High volume Raw material & Fuel sourcing strengthened my profile. Valuable exposure of brownfield site Capital spend of INR 250 crores & INR 150 crores in 2-phases since March-2018 and leading Operational spend of approx. INR 250 crores have propelled my profile to target future assignments. I pro-actively work on ground level to foster collaboration with different stakeholders in getting the issues sorted & to resolve the problems & help in achieving the goals.
