4,783 productivity books exist → but only one teaches you to befriend procrastination. Yesterday Tiny Experiments by Anne-Laure Le Cunff, PhD arrived on my Kindle. I started reading right away. Being half way through I can already express: Tiny Experiments is a must read to get into Mindful Productivity → It's the antidote to toxic productivity culture → Packed with relatable personal stories and actionable insights As a long-time follower of Anne-Laure's work and Ness Labs community member, I can't overstate the value packed into these pages. My top 4 inspirations (so far): ——— → Work with a PACT Welcome tiny progress steps and get into an experimental mindset → Befriend procrastination: What's it really telling you? → Head-Heart-Hand framework to understand procrastination holistically → Grow KAIROS rituals Small actions to open a magic window to Mindful productivity Let's close with this inspiring question - a curiosity opener: What experiment could you run on your own life that would bring you an intrinsic sense of fulfillment, whatever the outcome? I'm super curios for part II of the book. You too?
8 days into my Pomodoro experiment, and the impact is undeniable. → Here's what I've discovered: My PACT: (details: https://lnkd.in/g6Hra8Hc) ——— Use a daily Pomodoro sequence using Session for the next 10 days until 16.03. Learned from Anne-Laure Le Cunff, PhD - let's use a Plus-Minus-Next to reflect: ——— (Plus) ——— 8 days in - Pomodoro shows a real impact ——— → Finished a book in a day - 11 Pomodoro sessions, distraction-free, high focus. → Outperformed on outreach - planned 100 contacts for the 4MAT Mastering Training Design workshop, achieved 130. → Optimized LinkedIn morning routine - focused 25-minute slots for commenting, writing, and engagement. And for everyone starting, I highly recommend the app Session. → Tracks 25-minute slots with visual progress indicators → Provides ambient background sound → Analyzes behavior patterns → Manages breaks ——— (Minus) ——— Challenges to address in my next PACT: ——— → Truly disconnecting during 5-minute breaks (phone distractions) → Managing flow states - sometimes 25' converts to 2h (aligned with Pomodoro 2.0 concept) → Improving daily activity planning to guide Pomodoro sessions ——— (Next) ——— My follow-up pact to manifest the routine: ——— My follow-up PACT (next 10 days, until 25.03): 1. Dedicate first daily Pomodoro to defining the day's main goal 2. Complete at least 2 additional Pomodoro sequences daily 3. Maintain a detailed Pomodoro experience journal in daily notes 4. Integrate Pomodoro planning into morning routine (Inspired by Anne-Laure Le Cunff, PhD's Tiny Experiments concept.) Curious about Pomodoro? Ask me anything in the comments. Let's explore this productivity technique together!
