As the President/Owner of this franchise business, I was responsible for business planning and operational strategy. This included assessing market trends, developing campaigns, and guiding sales initiatives. I also developed and administered budgets; recruited, hired, trained, and supervised a diverse team of employees; and evaluated opportunities to expand the business and grow our brand presence. Within the first two years of launch, we secured more than $1M in sales revenue and were recognized with the Best in Dallas Award for Flooring Contractors. I also served as the Marketing Chair for the Dallas Owner Co-op.

I currently direct the company’s sales and marketing strategy with an emphasis on continuous growth and best practice client relationship management. In this capacity, I lead, mentor, and coach a 13-member inside sales, regional field sales, territory management, and agency administrative support team. I also define, execute, evaluate, and continuously improve client relationship management, product marketing, business development, competitive intelligence, and other key business strategies. Throughout my leadership tenure thus far, I have delivered numerous transformative solutions, including developing a new competitive intelligence strategy that consistently increases sales, developing best practice methodologies that increase production and impact, and improving performance, among other key areas.

Vice President, Sales and Marketing

I was promoted to serve in my current role, charged with developing and executing comprehensive strategic marketing plans for personal auto and renters insurance products in alignment with overall business objectives. I report directly to the Business Unit President. I identify product market opportunities, and develop market share growth plans. I also establish and cultivate relationships with key agencies through frequent calls and visits to discuss areas for growth and regularly attend industry conferences, webinars, and networking events. I also supervise and mentor a Communication Coordinator and 10 Territory Sales Managers. 

Key Contributions:
•	Generated 24% net written premium growth within key target areas; managed all print, electronic, and promotional marketing initiatives for 13 states. 
•	Created contingency compensation plan to drive optimal agent performance; plan includes retention, new written premium, and loss ratio components. 
•	Drove project planning and execution of system migration from legacy system to next-generation agent portal; designed agent training index and video modules for agent portal. 
•	Played key role in transitioning company to 100% electronic signature for all new business submitted through agency channel.
•	Recruited and trained 10 Territory Sales Managers, and developed new internal training program for all agency partners.

Director, Sales & Marketing

In my prior role with Hallmark, I managed and developed existing agency relationships across Oklahoma and Texas. I also identified and prospected new potential agencies by market and product line. In this role, I reported directly to the Director of Marketing and VP of Product Management. 

Key Contributions:
•	Facilitated agency training, and communicated new product introductions and enhancements to agents.
•	Played vital role in creating and delivering product communication via e-mail, phone, and websites.
•	Gathered key market intelligence; monitored competitive activities and market trends.
•	Executed detailed marketing plans, and reported on effectiveness of product revisions in market. 
•	Evaluated agency relationships for profitability, and attended agent conventions. 
•	Generated 30% net written premium growth within territory.

With VGW, I served in an agent role, and promoted the agency’s portfolio of insurance products to customers via phone, email & snail mail, and in-person. I processed insurance applications, payments, corrections, endorsements, and cancellations.

•	Developed, implemented, and monitored new underwriting guidelines for agency.
•	Researched coverage and premium options, and supplied clients with best coverage available.
•	Presented and clearly explained insurance policy options to clients based on their individual needs and goals.
•	Compiled coverage and rating information in accessible format, and prepared all requisite paperwork.
•	Pursued continuing education and training programs to continue professional development.
•	Fielded online information requests from potential new clients.
