I wish I didn’t have to write this.

But if you’re a parent in England… this affects you.

The government’s new ‘Children’s Wellbeing and Schools Bill’ sounds harmless.

But it’s not.

It gives the state sweeping control over your child’s life, their data, and your right to decide how they’re educated and cared for.

Here’s what’s really inside the Bill:

A Digital ID for every child.
⤷ A government-controlled identifier linking data across schools, health services, local authorities, even police. No way to opt out. No parental control over who sees it or how it’s used.

Parental rights removed.
⤷ Key decisions about your child’s education could shift from you to the state.
 Local authorities would determine what constitutes a “suitable” education.

Loss of confidentiality.
⤷ Sensitive family information could be shared without your consent.

SEN & vulnerable children hit hardest.
⤷ The same councils that lose 95% of SEND tribunal cases would have even more power.
 They could veto flexible learning options essential for anxious, autistic, or trauma-affected children.

Home education under threat.
⤷ Even if you don’t home educate now, this Bill could remove that choice in the future.
 Expect intrusive reporting and oversight for any family choosing a different path.

If you:

- Care about your child’s privacy and reject a hidden Digital ID system,

- Believe parents, not the state, should decide what’s best for their child,

- Want to protect the right to home educate,

- Believe SEND children deserve tailored education,

- And want support services to focus on safeguarding, not surveillance and control.

And while it’s always okay to ask for help…

(In fact, it’s something you SHOULD do.)

The way you ASK makes all the difference.

She did it perfectly the other day:

• She respected my time with my son by leaving a note instead of interrupting.

• Her mission mattered. It wasn’t selfish, it was about helping others.

• She kept her ask simple and clear. (80% of people pitch to me but never say what they actually need.)

Never be afraid to ask for help.

Never be afraid to jump at opportunities.

But when you do, make sure you give the opportunity the highest efficiency.

For yourself.

And for the person you’re asking.

That's 15 teachers' YEARLY salaries. Gone.

Let me put this in perspective:

£500,000 could fund:
- A year’s worth of teachers for an entire primary school
- 50 start-ups which will create more taxes and jobs
- Free school meals for 250,000 children

But no. While the government has slashed school funding by £630 MILLION…

We got a slightly different logo.

When running my businesses, every penny matters. If we wasted money on vanity projects while our core operations were failing, we'd be bankrupt.

A decision like this seems so out of touch with what’s going on for working people.

Old people will struggle to keep their heating on this winter, and 4.4 million low-income families are currently behind on bills…

Yet… the government spends £500k on a logo no one asked for.

It's insulting.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, but Britain should be run by entrepreneurs.

In business, we have a simple rule - Fix the fundamentals first.

If I couldn’t afford to pay my staff, I wouldn’t renovate my flipping office.

But politicians think in headlines and photo ops and a new logo makes them look "modern" and "forward-thinking."

No member of the public would approve this transaction, and that’s why they’d never tell you until it was done.

Every government spending decision over £100k should be presented to the public in ADVANCE.

No more under-the-rug transactions. If you want a new logo. Show us the business case. Prove the ROI.

Because right now, they're playing with YOUR money like it's Monopoly cash.

And we're all losing.

The average UK salary is £35,000.

Are ANY politicians really worth 4.5x more?

When a company is going through a rough patch…

Good leaders take pay cuts.

They don’t reward themselves while leaving their team to take the brunt.

Yet, MPs just took another pay rise while UK inflation is the highest in the G7.

The education system is broken. NHS waiting lists are at record highs.

I say: pay every politician the UK median wage.

Their salary only rises when the rest of the UK’s does.

Want a 10% pay rise? Then get the average citizen a 10% pay rise first.

Watch how fast things change when their mortgage depends on fixing YOUR problems.

Until then… politics will stay the only job where you can fail millions of people and still get a fat cheque every month.

I’ve said it before, and I still stand by it…

Entrepreneurs should run Britain.

A CEO who tanked their company would be fired, yet politicians get pay rises.

Let’s link pay to performance like every other industry:

• Shorter NHS waits = bonus
• Better education results = bonus
• Higher citizen wages = bonus

If the people lose, you lose.

If they win, you win.

Simple.

This is the biggest scam in history.

To push 18-22 year-olds into £70,000 of debt before they’ve even started life is a disgrace.

But this won't deter anyone, because it’s exactly how the system is designed.

Go to university if you're “smart.” Get a trade job if you're “not.”

If your parents tell you to go to university, ignore them.

Find your passion, learn a skill, start your own business.

But unless it’s absolutely necessary, like a doctor or lawyer (which should be free by the way)

Don’t go, no matter how badly the system tries to convince you.

If I’d gone to university, I’d never have started a business at 15, and I’d never have become a multi-millionaire.

Instead, I would’ve been stuck reading outdated “business” knowledge.

University teaches theory. Starting a business teaches you how to build.

And if you’re still not convinced, you’re statistically more likely to become a millionaire by starting a business than by spending four years and £70,000 going to university.

Do the maths. Choose wisely.

If you are broke, you are more likely to get rich.

I've invested in 78 businesses, and I've seen it all.

One of the trends I've noticed is the businesses that raise the least amount of money often are the ones that succeed.

Want a case study on why raising money can be a problem?

Look at WeWork.

If they hadn't raised so much money, they would have been more careful with their leases.

They would have been smarter about their long term business model.

It's hard for people to understand if they don't have money how this can be true.

But this is the thing to keep in mind when you've got nothing.

You've got nothing to lose.

Most of the people that are self made millionaires today came from nothing.

Taking risk requires a brain that realises you have nothing to lose…

And if you actually have nothing to lose then you can go for it without looking back.

This guy has REDEFINED what success means… 😮

You get ONE life.

And the people you spend it with will determine how it goes.

Pessimism is poison.

So, choose wisely.

The wrong people will hold you back. Keep you “comfortable.”

And the right person will constantly push and encourage you…

Even if it’s not exactly what you want to hear.

I would much prefer someone overly optimistic…

Than someone pessimistic.

Tough love > soft love.

Look around.

Are the people near you making you better…

Or just keeping you the same?

Don't sacrifice your potential for anyone.

I want to shout out a stranger today.

A stranger who helped me overcome my life's biggest insecurity without even knowing it.

When I was young, I couldn't read or write properly.

I wasn't dumb (though that's what everyone told me).

I was dyslexic.

I got laughed at for it. And for my entire life, I've HATED reading.

When people asked me to read out loud, I'd refuse. Every time.

But when I wrote my book, I decided to face my fear and record the audiobook myself.

I was terrified.

In the studio, I remember my hands shaking so badly I could barely hold the pages.

Then the sound engineer started talking to me.

He told me he'd worked with loads of dyslexic people. Some of them my heroes, like Jamie Oliver.

He said he only works on books he loves - and he'd read mine cover to cover and loved it.

It took me 5 days. 10 hours a day. To record that audiobook.

And he was there for every second.

Every time I stumbled over words and got frustrated, he'd calm me down. Tell me I was doing great. Keep me going.

So Roy McMillan.

Thank you for helping me beat my biggest fear.

And when I record the audio for my children's book "What's Your Dream? The Workbook" - I hope you'll be there to help me through it again.

But that’s the best position to be in, because either way, I win.

So when people tell me they’re building a business to sell it or get rich...

My reply is always the same:

Forget about selling. Focus on building.

And when your business reaches the point where you don’t want to sell it...

That’s when you decide if you still want to.

Your monthly costs are KILLING your dreams.

We've normalised picking up small monthly expenses because they seem harmless.

A Netflix subscription here, a new phone plan there…

But these little costs are parasites, feeding on your dream.

Elon Musk lived in his office to make his vision a reality. So did I.

Struggling a bit is part of the journey to achieving what you want.

Those monthly direct debits might make life slightly more comfortable, but they're stopping you from making real progress.

I hear it all the time: "I don't have the money to start" or "I can't quit my job."

But the truth is, most people believe this because of their unnecessary outgoings.

Cut your costs. Fight for your dream.

You have to be all in to win.

Entrepreneurs will make Britain great again.

We’re the nation that invented the steam engine, the telephone…

We gave the world The Beatles.

We’ve always been at our best when we create.

And I see it happening again.

I just watched Steven Bartlett on Jimmy Fallon, breaking into America and putting British entrepreneurship on the map.

Last week, Richard Branson and I took to the streets of NYC to help strangers dreams become a reality. 

Britain is at its best when we lead with innovation, and the world loves us for that.

I’ve interviewed thousands of British people and I can say for CERTAIN…

If we back ourselves, we can take that global again.

We need to stop with all the division and the moaning.

And come together not just to make Britain great again…

But show the world how great Britain is.

When you hit 18, you should leave.

Come up with a plan. Book a one-way ticket and get the hell out of your hometown.

Your parents might try to stop you, the system certainly will.

They'll try and push you into university or a job instead.

But you shouldn't listen.

At 23, I moved to Hong Kong with nothing and it was the best decision I ever made.

If I'd stayed in my hometown, I'd probably be working some job I hate. Drowning in debt from a degree I didn't need.

Instead, I found my purpose and built a life I love.

You don’t HAVE to stay in your home town. You don’t HAVE to go to university. You don’t HAVE to wait until you're "stable".

University gives you £70,000 of debt and four years of theory.

Moving gives you real experiences. New perspectives. The chance to discover who you actually are.

When you're young, you don't need a degree. You need experiences that shape you. Connections with new people and cultures and environments that force you to grow.

Comfort is the killer of growth and your hometown is comfort.

Your dreams are bigger than the street you grew up on. The world is massive.

But the longer you wait, the harder it gets. At 18, you have nothing to lose. By 28, you'll have excuses.

University and jobs will wait for you if it really doesn't work out.

Go live your life. Just go.

Buying a supercar made me DEPRESSED.

At 15, I was homeless, but I had this stupid dream...

A big house with a supercar parked out front.

I didn't even have a roof over my head at that time but it kept me fighting.

Fast forward 20 years and I did it.

I sold my business for millions. I bought a big house and had a fancy Porsche.

I'd made it and I was... miserable.

I was LESS happy than when I had nothing!

And then I realised, that in getting those things...

I'd lost what I really loved. The thing that really made me happy.

My business.

I traded my purpose for possessions and it was the biggest mistake of my life.

That day I learned that true happiness comes from building something you love.

Where every day is a new battle to fight.

Of course, we need money to achieve our goals but, trust me...

Thinking money will make you happy is a trap.

The dream shouldn't be to sell your company for millions. It should be to build a company with purpose that you never want to sell.

And fine. If you really want a fancy car then use it to push you to your goals.

But attach it to something meaningful because without it, you won't be happy.

Instead of aligning you end goal with materialistic possessions...

Align it with a purpose bigger than yourself and make the materialistic items a by-product of meaningful work.

That way you'll be more successful and happy than you ever thought was possible.

The UK still won't take influencers seriously.

I know because I’m a business person who BECAME an influencer.

It shocks me how much the creator economy gives to the UK…

Yet how little respect creators get from traditional business and government.

Most “serious” business people still look down on creators. As if they aren’t real entrepreneurs.

But they don't realise they have already overtaken them.

Creators are the next Amazons and Googles.

Attention is the most valuable currency in the world.

Facebook became a trillion-dollar business because it owned attention.

TikTok became a billion-dollar business because it owned attention.

I could launch a product today. Spend £0 on marketing. And reach hundreds of millions of people within weeks.

And my community would back it, because they know me, they trust me, and they care.

Governments and businesses are years behind...

But it seems they are just now starting to catch on.

And while they may be catching on to the power of social media...

They are still far behind in the power of purpose.

Yesterday, my post about the Children’s Wellbeing and Schools Bill blew up.

The government spent months quietly pushing it through…

And now people are outraged.

But the good news is, Parliament HAS to listen to us now.

If you missed what this Bill really does…

The “Children’s Wellbeing and Schools Bill” is a wolf in sheep’s clothing.

It creates a Digital ID for every child in the UK.
  ⤷ Data from schools, health services, councils, police… your child’s entire life will be stored in a government database which parents get zero control over what goes in.

This Bill strips away parental rights.
  ⤷ The state (not you) will decide what counts as a “suitable” education… even in your own home.

Your family’s private information could be shared without consent.

If your child has special needs
 ⤷ The same councils that lose 95% of SEND tribunal cases will now have even more power.

And if you think home education could protect you…

 It won’t. This Bill could end that choice forever.

They’re disguising control as care, and once laws like this pass… they rarely ever go back.

But yesterday, 100,000 of you stood up, and because of that, Parliament will have to consider debating this.

If you believe that:

1. Parents decide what’s best for their kids.

2. Children’s data should be protected.

3. Education should empower kids to follow their dreams, not control them.

Most people have a dream.

But they’re so stuck in fight or flight, they never get the chance to even think about it.

You can’t build a dream when you’re just trying to survive.

You can’t fly if you’re constantly running.

It’s not laziness that stops people. 

It’s fear.

Fear of failing. Fear of running out of money.

Fear of being judged, and when you live in fear, your brain can’t create, it can only react.

That’s why I love the butterfly metaphor.

A butterfly can’t fly until it’s calm.

Humans are the same.

Until you find peace, you’ll never find purpose.

So slow down. Breathe. And give yourself the chance to be yourself.

Only then can you truly fly.

“Stop telling everyone to be an entrepreneur.”

That’s what people tell me.

But I’m not… not really.

I'm simply telling everyone to do something they love.

I've done one of the largest surveys in human history to find out what people's dreams are.

And 95% of people aren't following them...

For the simple reason that they’re doing what they’re told.

By their parents, the school system, the news...

But there’s one anomaly where most people ARE following their dream.

Nurses.

And it’s because they're helping someone.

The world needs entrepreneurs, yes.

But it also needs passionate nurses, inspired teachers, and dedicated builders.

It doesn't need more people sleepwalking through jobs they hate.

Your dream might be to start a business. Or it might be to save lives. Or teach kids. Or build homes.

The point is: it should be YOUR dream.

Not your parents'. Not your teachers'. Not society's. Not your bosses.

Yours.

And when you follow what you actually want to do, you'll be brilliant at it.

Because passion beats talent every single time.
