The #1 mistake personal brands are making → And it’s costing them real authority (and real business) Read the post below ⬇ #beyourvoice #storytelling
Teaching won’t make people trust you. Making them feel seen will. Right now? You’re doing too much of the first and not enough of the second. Most founders try to “sound smart.” That’s exactly why no one remembers them. Your audience doesn’t want more tips. They want to feel: “This person gets me.” So ask yourself: ↳ Is my message simple enough to land? ↳ Is there a clear promise in my offer? ↳ Do I sound human or just polished? Content shouldn’t just educate. It should create belief.
Tag the one who’s actually building something. Don’t tag the loudest person you know. → Not chasing trends → Not posting for clout → Just doing the work — day after day We’re starting a podcast inside Be Your Voice a community that keeps people accountable to market themselves without shame. And we want to interview builders. People who are showing up — with or without the spotlight. Tag them below. If they’re doing the work, we want to talk to them. Self-tags welcome. #beyourvoice #100daysofcommunity
‘Just tell your story’ has become the MLM of LinkedIn.... Everyone’s doing it, nobody’s profiting, and it’s just echo-chamber empathy with zero ROI. Here's the part no one wants to admit: Storytelling isn’t about being seen. It’s about being remembered for something useful. If you're a coach, creator, or service provider, your story isn’t just for self-expression. It’s a positioning tool. Your story should: → Show me the gap you help people close → Make me feel like you get what I’m going through → Prove that your process actually works Not just “here’s what I went through.” But: here’s what I learned and here’s how it can help you win faster. That’s the difference between being relatable and being hireable. If you read this and thought, “Damn, I’ve been doing this wrong...” Say “fixing it” below. I’ll send you 3 prompts to reset your story the right way. #storytelling
Treating your LinkedIn like a journal isn’t brave...it’s bad marketing. → Posting emotional sob stories → Selfies with “raw” captions → Oversharing their day-to-day in the name of “authenticity” And while that gets eyeballs, It doesn’t get the right business. Here’s what’s missing and it’s costing them real growth: They’re selling themselves instead of the transformation. You don’t need more “here’s my story” posts. You need content that shows: → What you offer actually changes for someone → What your client’s struggle looked like before they met you → And the exact shift your service helped them achieve You want to be seen as the solution, not just another creator. → Talk about the real battles your clients face → Share stories that showcase outcomes, not just experiences → Position your offer as the bridge between frustration and freedom When you start talking about them, You stop sounding like everyone else. That’s the difference between building attention vs. building authority. And authority? It converts 10x better. P.S. Want to position yourself as the authority in your niche without playing the “storytelling for sympathy” game? DM me “AUTHORITY” → I’ll show you what needs to shift in your content to attract real, ready-to-buy leads. #beyourvoice #storytelling
I wasn’t sure if they’d see me as a founder or just another freelancer with a dream. I shamelessly pitched myself to partner with an event(secret now), even though I had no clue whether they would take me up on it. I’m building my first agency after being a freelancer for 3.6 years. Pitching wasn’t just new; it was terrifying. But I did it anyway. When they gave me a chance to present my idea, I knew I had to make it count. I spent the next 24 hours putting everything I’d learned over the years into that presentation. Starting from scratch, I built a plan that wasn’t just good it was my best pitch ever. (according to me) At the end of it, the event organizer looked at me and said, “I would like to work with you, Siva.” In that moment, hearing those words, I felt the fear and doubt melt away, replaced by a quiet confidence I hadn't felt before. This wasn’t just a win; it was the beginning of something bigger. This gig wasn’t about getting paid—it was a branding partnership. It was proof that I could step up as an agency owner and put my brand out there for the first time. I felt a mix of excitement, nerves, and pride like I was stepping into the role I’d always wanted but never quite believed I could own. As I document this journey building my agency while balancing my IT job. I realize this partnership is more than a business move. It’s my declaration that I’m not just a freelancer anymore; I’m a founder, creating my own path, one pitch at a time. p. s: you will also make it BIG 😅 --- Day 1 Building #nammasocials - branding with stories our community - #beyourvoice community for marketing yourselves better
The real flex isn’t in what you post. It’s in who you are when no one’s watching. Here’s what I learned (and you should too): You’re chasing the wrong thing. You’re focused on visibility but visibility is easy. What you need is credibility. That’s what people remember. That’s what makes you stand out. Here’s the problem: You’re posting content, but it’s not driving real connection. You’re stuck in a cycle of perfect captions, curated aesthetics, and hashtags that aren’t moving the needle. Why? Because you’re skipping the most important step building your identity. If you want to build a stand-out brand, Stop trying to look like a brand. Start becoming one.
Posting daily is the fastest way to stay invisible on LinkedIn. → Not because you’re not trying hard enough. → Because you’re telling them nothing new. Consistency without story = noise. This post isn’t for everyone. ↳ It’s not for the "post and pray" crowd. ↳ It’s not for checklist chasers. It’s for the ones who want to be remembered. Not just seen. If that's you, listen carefully: Nobody connects with tips. Everybody connects with a truth they feel in their gut. → Your story isn't optional. → It's oxygen for your brand. Stop hiding behind frameworks. Start leading with your fingerprint. p. s: went to Starbucks for the first time in my life
You’ve been posting every day for months…But still, no one stops to pay attention. You’re working harder than ever. Yet, something still feels missing. What if I told you that posting more isn’t the answer? What if I told you that you’re stuck in a loop of chasing rather than magnetizing? It’s not about posting every day. It’s about building presence. Presence isn’t something you force. It’s something that magnetizes. When you stop focusing on getting seen and start focusing on feeling everything shifts. People stop scrolling. They stop to feel your presence. Presence is what makes you unforgettable. What would change if your content wasn’t just about getting likes but about getting remembered? Comment ‘Yes’ if you’ve experienced that shift!
Last week,I watched a founder explain his story in person but his online posts didn't perform well. But, He wasn’t short on passion. He had the clarity. He had the conviction. But in his words… I could *only one* feel the gap. They heard him, but they didn’t see themselves in it. And that’s what we spoke about He didn’t need to educate them more. He needed them to feel understood. Because when content only teaches It distances. But when it reflects It connects. Founders don’t want lectures. They want language that mirrors their mess. That’s when they lean in. That’s why he chose to work with us Not because we gave answers. But because we asked the right questions. If you feel your content says a lot but connects little—DM “SEEN.” Let’s make your audience recognize themselves in every word. P.S. What’s one phrase your audience always uses→but you’ve never posted about?
