People, sales, metrics, and data fascinate me. Throughout my career, I have increased revenue through building customer relationships and by hitting my metrics. I consistently hit my sales goals by over 100%, through strategic use of metrics through lead qualification spreadsheets in a prior business development role. In my current role as a customer support specialist, I input information from the clients into JIRA, a project management tool. Furthermore, I communicate effectively with internal staff and the client to ensure all parties have the right information. As a result, 100% of my customer satisfaction metrics are obtained in a matter of a few hours. While working at Resus Technologies (a SaaS startup), I did background research through phone calls to better understand our customer base. In addition, I collaborated effectively with team members and worked independently. I consistently met my metrics, hit all my deadlines, and was instrumental in driving in-person event attendance by over 30%. My sales career started at Macy’s Department Store where I grew the in-store customer base by over 40% and became the top salesperson in my department. I attribute my success to effective collaboration with others on our team and to my extensive knowledge of the store’s software system . Because of my strong desire for professional development, I have consumed many sales, customer service, and business books and have taken courses on Sales Development, Hubspot, Google Analytics and Salesforce. Some organizations that I have been active in are RevGenius, a community of revenue-generating sales, marketing, customer success, and revops professionals and HYPCCCYCL, invite-only, professional community where top B2B revenue leaders cross-train their GTM skills with VCs. In terms of sales books, one of my favorite books was Jeb Blount’s “Fanatical Prospecting.” In addition, I have taken the initiative to become active in a local Toastmasters club.
