West Midlands 4x4 Response

Over the years, and across the UK there have been groups set up by volunteers owning 4x4s and offering a service to their local community. Members of these groups have used their vehicles to support the Emergency Services, Local Council Emergency Planning Departments and other volunteer organisations in times of poor weather, emergency or other times of need.

West Midlands 4x4 Response is such a group, and is a member of the National 4x4 Response umbrella organisation.

The National Charity is an umbrella organisation with national remit. Its regional members are the teams which do the day-to-day operation.

Currently leading on several projects around Team Collaboration, Virtual Leadership, and Learning & Development of staff and volunteers.
Responsible for progressing the projects through the full life cycle, including gaining business/user acceptance, the training of soft and technical skills, as well as the strategic design and implementation of the online and Cloud based systems, such as Office365, SharePoint, Moodle etc..

 - Commercial Training of MOC and CompTIA courses e.g. Server 2008, Security+ etc 

 - Technical Sales Support for both Commercial Courses and Apprenticeships
