This is how I test with insight. 🧪 Before I test with money. 🫰 When I need to validate a campaign or product angle for a client, I use these tools: 1. Perplexity: to scan top-ranked pages, forums and trending articles to see how a topic is being framed. 2. Google Trends + Exploding Topics: to check momentum and seasonal shifts. 3. Sweet Spot (my tool): to cluster sentiment and pull psychographic signals from social conversations. 4. Humantic: to profile audience types or stakeholders for tone and messaging fit. 5. Claude or Notebook LLM: to structure these insights into decision-ready frameworks (like "jobs to be done" or value laddering). This is how I test messaging and strategy. The Cluely Manifesto says “cheat on everything.” I say, stop guessing on everything. ⁉️ Cluely is a bold and controversial startup promoting the use of AI to win faster, even in interviews, sales calls and negotiations, and their controversial manifesto has gone viral. Their pitch is simple > If you can gain an edge with AI, you should. I get it. Tech has always been accused of cheating at first. - Calculators - Spellcheck - Google Eventually, the world adapts. 🌍 But here’s where I land. Using AI to gain clarity is smart. Using AI to avoid thinking altogether is short-term. And here’s the truth for most brands right now. - They’re not cheating. -> They’re guessing. - Guessing what to launch. - Guessing what to say. - Guessing what their audience actually cares about. At Sweet Spot, we built our AI tool to fix that. It doesn’t replace your thinking. Some of my best ideas happen on the walk back from the school run. Today was one of them. ☀️ It's a lovely sunny day and I was listening to The Diary Of A CEO, the episode with Emma Grede, the billionaire co-founder behind SKIMS. She spoke about how she grew up and how this affected her attitude to life and work. It reminded me of something the amazing Stephen Gillen said to me this week during a self-branding session: 'Telling your personal story is what makes people understand you'. That stuck.💭 So I asked myself If I had to tell my story on a podcast, what would I say? Naturally, my brain went into AI mode. 🤖 I thought 'what if I could drop my raw story into Notebook LLM and get it to tell the story for me through it's podcast feature?' Tons of ideas in minutes on how to explain my personal narrative. That's my plan for the weekend (yes, still a workaholic!) 📝 Write my story. 🎙️ Let AI shape it.
