From a young age, I have been enamored by the vastness and possibilities of space. As a 37-year-old graduate from an ABET-accredited mechanical engineering program, my passion only grew stronger over the years. Back in 2012, after graduating, I realized the space industry had not yet achieved its potential. Rather than diving in immediately, I chose to keenly observe its evolution, simultaneously enriching my understanding of business and systems engineering through various entrepreneurial endeavors. Fast forward to today, Meraki Space Systems embodies my dream and vision for space exploration. Our mission at Meraki is not just to explore, but to build, expand, and establish. We're on a quest to determine the level of interest in Lunar settlements, aiming to aid the audacious entrepreneurs looking to make space their next business frontier. As a proud private military contractor, we support the national security interests of the U.S. and our allies, with a goal to establish a permanent Lunar presence. Driven by our unwavering vision, we at Meraki are striving to pave the way for humanity to thrive beyond Earth. Our roadmap is clear: to use the Moon as a launchpad for exploring other worlds. With a commitment to man our Lunar base station with top-tier astronaut engineers by the end of 2030, we are on track to not just achieve but exceed our objectives. And as we collaborate with partners aiming to create life-sustaining habitats, we're also gearing up to launch planetary defense systems, initiate asteroid mining, and expand our horizons into agriculture domes and space tourism. By 2026, we intend to pioneer asteroid mitigation through our state-of-the-art asteroid tracking and redirect satellites. As we look ahead, our focus also includes manufacturing advanced nuclear RF plasma engines designed for deep space exploration and asteroid redirection. We're on a mission to reshape the narrative of space operations and cultivate a passionate community of space explorers. As I lead Meraki Space Systems, my objective is to combine technical prowess with a visionary approach, pushing boundaries, and pioneering a future where interplanetary civilization is no longer a dream but a tangible reality.
