People will tell you: "Pick the right career, and you’ll be happy forever." However, career clarity isn’t about making a perfect choice. It’s about letting go of the fear that you’ll mess it all up. No one can see into the future. Not CEOs. Not entrepreneurs. Not even you. And you know what, that’s actually ok! The pressure to "get it right" keeps you stuck. Frozen at the crossroads. Overthinking every option. But clarity doesn’t come from knowing the perfect answer. It comes from trusting yourself to go forward, even when it’s hard to see. You’ve already built success once. Look where you are now! You can build it again, no matter which path you take. That trust in yourself? That’s real career clarity.

    Be honest.... How many of you were still answering work emails during the Easter Break? No judgment here... I remember a time I came into work on Bank Holiday Monday. I fooled myself into thinking that I was being dedicated but really it was a boundary issue. Somewhere along the way in our careers, we believe that always being available was the key to promotion or an increased salary. But if we are being honest here... it's also the fastest route to burnout and resentment. The thing is, you don't have to reply to that 9pm Slack message. Its not THAT important. If you want peace of mind. Set the boundary! Delete the app from your phone if you have too. Start reclaiming your time... because it is YOUR time

    A client came to me totally stuck. They were a Senior Manager with over 15 years of experience. Smart, well-respected in their company. But deeply unfulfilled. They were unsure about the next step in their career. They said: "Maybe I should consult... join a start-up... or become a teacher... I just don’t know.” The problem wasn’t a lack of options. It was too many. The more they thought, the more overwhelmed they got. Here’s what changed everything: They didn’t need more options. They needed a filter. We built one using 3 simple questions: 1) Energy – Does this excite me or drain me? 2) Identity – Does this fit who I’m becoming? 3) Leverage – Does this use my strengths and network? Within a few weeks, they made their choice. If you’re drowning in choices, stop chasing the “right” one. Build a filter that reflects your future, not just your past.

    Sometimes you don’t have to hate your job to know it’s no longer right for you.... Sometimes, the clearest sign that it’s time to pivot isn’t stress. This post will walk you through 5 signs you’ve outgrown your current role, especially if you’re still performing, but starting to feel… disconnected. Ps: I'm not saying you should leave your job, especially in the current market. Just something to ponder....!

    It’s certainly the title. It’s not even the money. It’s not even the fear of starting over. It’s the story you’ve told yourself about what success is supposed to look like. You spent so many years "climbing the ladder." Every promotion was proof you were doing it right. Every raise validated the sacrifice. Every long night meant you were "on the path." And now... you're thinking of walking away? That’s terrifying. Not because you’re unsure of what’s next, but because the idea of leaving what you've built feels like betraying your past self. Even worse.... 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝗳 𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗸 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗳𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗲𝗱....? That’s not fear of change. That’s fear of being misunderstood. Of losing status. Of making a move that others can’t quantify as “winning.” Here’s how to fix it: 1) Stop framing change as starting over. 2) Realise that growth often looks like loss. 3) Work with someone who knows how to help people pivot without sacrificing the progress you’ve earned. (Hint, hint) You’re not scared of the unknown... You're scared of losing a version of you that no longer fits, even if it once did.
