People -Getting the right people, the right “who” -Training No one you hire will know everything they could possibly need to know. You need to be able to get them up to speed and help them grow. -Change Management Change Fatigue is real and how you implement change can be critical -Thinking Together - the whole is greater than the sum of the parts This is far more than "brainstorming", it allows the collective emergence of conscience and unconscious thoughts to solve hard problems together in meaningful ways. Process -Define the role - To put the right people in the right seats, you first need to define the seats well. What is the role? What should it do? What should it not do? -Define the process The best people, with the best systems and metrics, following a bad process, will not be able to be successful. You also need to ensure that the process is designed WITH the people who will do the work. System Your systems should enable your growth, not limit it. I specialize in all business systems - CRM (like Salesforce), ERP (like Oracle NetSuite), WMS, MRP, E-Commerce (Shopify, Woocommerce, etc), HRIS/HCM, ATS. You also need to ensure that all your systems work together, are an integrated whole. I work with several iPaaS softwares such as Celigo, Jitterbit, and Dell Boomi as well as experience with smaller niche integration tools for EDI and some WMS. Measurements "If you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing it is stupid" - Einstein What we measure drives behavior. If you have the best people, with the best processes, with the best systems, but your measurements for success are not for the behaviors you want, you will struggle to grow. Once we solved an entire sales problem by redefining the commission structure to focus on margins, not just logo count.
