Anthony Pierri mixes super-detailed posts about messaging with funny comments and posts (lately).

Mitchell Tan 📮 is building Kondo, and his posts are a mix of irony about the LinkedIn inbox, a deep understanding of his ICP and their pains, and funny commentary.

Adam Robinson is just killing it with in-depth posts sharing insights on how bootstrapped startups are built (RB2B specifically), and regular updates on wins, losses and strategical decisions his team makes. 

If you still think that sharing lead magnets is the only way to grow here - it’s not.

A moment when your comment becomes more viral than your best posts..

Context:
I wrote that under the post of Lovable's founder, stating that 250K apps have been built in the last 48 hours, and they're rebuilding the internet.

I don't have anything against Lovable, but let's be honest - if something becomes as easy to build as making a Google search, do you expect it to have a lot of value?

Back in 2010, I graduated as an “Automation and Software Engineer.”
At the time, I had no idea how much the world of automation would change.

But one thing hasn’t changed: the core process of automation.

Here’s how it still works today:

1. Look at how the company or team operates

2. Find tasks that are repeated and done manually

3. Spot the bottlenecks that slow things down

4. Estimate how much time an automation could save — and if it's worth building

5. Build it

6. Repeat the process again and again

So what has changed?

One word: AI

AI completely changed steps 4 and 6.

Now we can build powerful automations faster, and for much less money.

Things like:
- Reading or writing text
- Understanding images or video
- Summarizing documents
- Chatting with clients or answering emails

These used to take months to build. Now, it might take hours.
What didn’t make sense to automate in the past… might make a lot of sense today.

👉 Ask yourself and your team:
 “What’s the most annoying task we keep doing over and over again?”

Most executives spend too much time focusing on complex transformation projects and not enough on quick automation wins.

I analyzed dozens of businesses last quarter. The pattern became clear. Companies leave money on the table because they overlook simple automation opportunities right under their noses. (sometimes because they are looking at "This AI Agents replaces the whole sales team" nonsense)

Here's my 3-point checklist for spotting automation gold:

1. Multiple people doing identical work
At least a few people in the same role are performing the same type of tasks. 

2. Weekly repetitive tasks
Look for processes happening at least once per week. Daily tasks? Even better. 

3. Documented SOPs exist
No standard operating procedure means chaos to automate. Create SOPs first. Then automate. Skip this step and watch your automation project fail.

Real examples from the field:

Client onboarding automation makes sense when you add 10+ clients monthly. Our client automated their entire onboarding. Result: 15 hours saved weekly. But if you onboard 1-2 clients monthly? Focus elsewhere.

Meeting summarization and automations related to task creation and assignment hit differently for every business. Tech companies with 50+ weekly meetings see massive ROI. Small consultancies with five meetings? Not worth the effort.

Customer support automation depends on volume. E-commerce business handling 500 tickets daily? Automate immediately. Boutique agency with 10 weekly inquiries? Your team handles it fine.

The mistake I see repeatedly: 

Leaders chase shiny AI solutions while ignoring these fundamentals. Start with the obvious. Scale from there.

Let's see if it's really so.

What to do?

Comment with the time LinkedIn shows between when I posted this and when you saw it. 

For example:
30 mins
1 hour
1 day
 etc.

This will only work if many people comment (so engagement stays active) and it will give everyone a better idea on the distribution of time when the post is shown.

Just wrapped a call with a law firm prospect. Top-3 AI concerns I hear everywhere:

"Can't replace humans."
"Not reliable."
"Clients won't trust it."

Stop.

AI shouldn't replace humans. It amplifies what you already do. Your team stays the same size. Output doubles.

Reliability? Set up RAG systems. Control the parameters. Make AI work within strict boundaries. No hallucinations. No made-up facts. Just enhanced productivity.

Client trust issues vanish when you don't announce "AI did this." You integrate it seamlessly. Quality stays high. Speed increases. Margins grow.

Think about it.

You ditched handwriting for computers. Abandoned physical libraries for Google. This is the same shift. New tools. Better results.

Law firms using AI aren't replacing lawyers. They're billing more hours with the same headcount. Processing documents in minutes instead of days. Finding case precedents instantly.

The firms resisting today will be playing catch-up tomorrow. While their competitors close deals faster, serve more clients, and maintain higher profit margins.

Back in the days I was charging project-based
Then I ran an agency that mostly charged hourly-based

Then we switched to dedicated team pricing and charged primarily monthly retainers

And yes, this approach has it's certain cons. It's hardly doable for a complex software development company, but it's absolutely great for a no/low-code automation & AI agency.

Three simple automations that save my team a few hours per week, and what's more important, don't allow things to get lost or forgotten:

1. Collect form submissions from multiple websites that we run (Webflow and other CMS), analyze them, save them to Pipedrive with the right tags, in the correct pipelines, adding the relevant attributes (e.g., potential deal size).

2. Collect invoices from the Gmail inbox, analyze them, and save them to a Google Drive and a Google spreadsheet. Also, forward them to Xero for accounting.

3. Automatically track any tasks in ClickUp that have not been moving for a while, sending a reminder on Slack to the assignee and PM

Automation is not about a zillion-node n8n/Make file that does everything. It is about finding the places that:

- Involve repeatable manual operations
- Are human-error-prone
- Your clients often complain about

And see how you can make them work on autopilot.
