It took me 4 years in sales and 5 years in retail as part of the expansion team, to finally understand that something is going wrong with my life. I never knew who I wanted to be, but my curiosity and greed for life were pushing me forward to new challenges. And I was satisfied until the moment when I became comfortable with the role. When I am comfortable - I am bored. At my last workplace I got comfortable after 1 working month, then I understood that some major changes should come to my life. But I wasn't sure what I should do next. So I took a longer career break, decided to walk Camino de Santiago (yes, I'm kind of a victim of marketing), but it helped to understand myself and that the next career path should be connected to IT, because there you have to keep learning everyday (exactly what I am looking for!). I was happy to 'touch' data analytics job when working in sales, and this part was always more interesting than actual sales, so I decided to give it a try. I took a one month course just to get general understanding of the job, and I liked it. Later I received a scholarship from Turing College, where I practiced (like a lot) SQL, Google sheets and I continue studying there. Every day I like data more and more. Having no doubt that data will be my final career path.
