Call Centre Helper Magazine

From April 2023 I joined the online publisher, Call Centre Helper, the world's largest online publication for the Contact Centre industry, providing blogs, best practice articles, webinars and other digital content.

In this role I work with the wider Call Centre Helper team to create and implement global marketing strategies for our various channels. Highlights include:
- SEO: Keyword strategy and adapting our existing content to changing search engine algorithms.
- Website Management: Creating strategy for content, optimising our user interface and mapping customer journey.
- Paid Advertising: Creation and implementation of paid social campaigns, including retargeting strategies through various stages of the buying process.
- Organic Social: Management of social channels and their overarching strategies. 
- Campaigns & Webinars: Management of email campaigns and sponsored webinars (including user engagement and promotion).
- ABM: Creation of strategies both internally and in collaboration with our media partners for targeting via our own audience of decision makers.

I am also responsible with engaging Call Centre Helper's advertising partners, working with them to ensure that their content (adverts, articles, email campaigns, social, webinar etc) are performing on our channels and update our package options to best meet the marketing requirements of these advertisers.

Digital Content Director

Ingersoll Rand

From September 2022 I was promoted to the role of Marketing Manager for Ingersoll Rand Transport Solutions. In the year and a half since managing and developing the creation of the umbrella brand, I oversaw business growth of over 3,000 digital marketing driven leads and over $2,000,000 in order revenue from that business.

Upon taking this new role, I began leading the IRTS marketing team. During my time with Ingersoll Rand Transport Solutions, I have been responsible for new product launches, extensive Google and social PPC campaigns, traditional marketing such as core asset development and trade shows, as well as significant overhauls to every major digital channel for the brand. At this time, I currently manage six websites for the individual strategic brands of IRTS and have implemented several global strategies designed to drive additional leads and revenue to the business. This role has required large amounts of cooperation with key stakeholders from all parts of the wider Ingersoll Rand business, including Product Managers, Sales teams and other elements of the Global Marketing team.

Marketing Manager

In April 2021 I was promoted to Junior Marketing Manager, which gave me further responsibilities for different parts of the Ingersoll Rand business. I was still responsible for the marketing management of Gardner Denver Transport (including our range of ‘eMobility’ electrified solutions), EMCO Wheaton, TODO and GHH Rand, but was also given oversight on the creation and implementation of a new ‘umbrella brand’ which was designed to fit each of my existing ‘strategic brands’ into a new business segment for the wider business and highlight their portfolio to their automotive and industrial customer base.

Existing Responsibilities: I have been responsible for the marketing of my various strategic brands since Q1 2019. Over this time, I have been given an increasing amount of oversight over the creation and implementation of their marketing strategies. These responsibilities include; product marketing (asset development, new product marketing launches, PR strategies etc.), campaign management (24 campaigns over the past two years), contact database growth and management (total overhaul in 2020 and growth of over 300% in the post GDPR period), event management, as well as digital strategy development and execution (creation of SEO, PPC and new websites for each strategic brand leading to increases of 347% in unique website users and 425% in lead generation on the GD Transport site alone).

Junior Marketing Manager

As Gardner Denver merged with Ingersoll Rand in March 2020, I was given oversight over further ‘Transport’ brands, both from legacy GD and IR in the form of EMCO Wheaton, TODO and GHH Rand. Alongside my existing responsibilities this gave me global oversight over the majority of Ingersoll Rand’s Transport portfolio. Balancing the demands of a large scale merger and the on boarding new brands alongside the constraints of a global pandemic were challenging but the continued development of a broad range of marketing strategies delivered strong growth in marketing related closed won orders, up 127% on the previous year. My responsibilities during this time can be summarised in the following core areas: 

Product Marketing: On boarding the new transport brands whilst developing their foundational marketing strategies from the ground up, analysing current issues with their approach and implementing best practice solutions across each brand to target their existing customer base. The creation of foundational marketing assets and new product releases were also involved in this element of the job. 

Digital Strategy Development & Execution: These strategies were designed from scratch and implemented, with each brand adopting approaches which best targeted their customers (including both in-bound and account based marketing strategies). This included the launch of new, highly technical webinars, and a complete overhaul of the GD Transport website, which involved both SEO and PPC strategies being created and executed, alongside major work on defining our value proposition to our customers. So far we have seen growth of 347% in unique users and 425% lead generation from this initiative.

Budgeting & Reporting: Oversight on global marketing budgets totalling over $500,000. This includes co-ordination with internal stakeholders in order to create a new centralised system for transport marketing which I then had direct responsibility for.

Marketing Specialist

Gardner Denver

In January 2019, I was promoted to the role of Marketing Specialist and assigned two new brands from within Gardner Denver, ‘Transport’ and ‘Transit’. This job role came with the remit of a complete marketing overhaul for both brands, as Transport operated in mature markets and Transit was an emerging industry for Gardner Denver. These brands had lacked marketing support in the past and hence all collateral and marcom strategy had to be created from scratch. In this role I oversaw the development of a new website (including analytics and SEO), digital content strategy, various automated email campaigns and the introduction of several product marketing initiatives. Over the course of the year, our marketing strategies have generated almost 400 leads and closed over $800,000 in order revenue, a 102% and 205% increase on PY, respectively. Utilising data from various SEO platforms, such as, Google Analytics and SEMrush, I also added a UX focus on our web development for Transport in 2019, leading to a large increase in the quality of leads coming from digital channels (103% increase on YTD win rate).
Responsibilities:
• Website Development - Utilising our CMS system (Sitecore), in order to build a new website for my brands with a focus on UX and conversion rate, leading to a 102% increase in leads generated from PY.
• Digital Strategy Development - Complete overhaul and implementation of Transport’s digital strategy, utilising social, email, SEO and PPC elements.  
• Automated Campaign Planning - Outlining campaign strategy and briefing a larger team on globally spanning branded campaigns, based on industry verticals. Managing both database analytics and segmentation. I also utilised external platforms such as Mail Chimp for targeted distributor outreach. 
• Budget Management - Increased responsibility over a far larger budget than in previous role. Managing regional splits as required due to existing segmentation.

Gardner Denver specialise in critical flow products within a wide range of global applications. Working as part of the EMEA Product Marketing team, I was in charge of two Gardner Denver compressor brands – ‘Reavell’ and ‘Belliss & Morcom’. While in this role I developed my skills in Product Marketing by coordinating several global email campaigns, developing online and offline marketing strategies, and was heavily involved in distributor engagement. Managing a tight budget ensured that I prioritised initiatives with a high ROI, and developed my content writing and digital design skills to ensure marketing’s output remained high, while keeping costs to a minimum.
Responsibilities:
• Online Strategy – Development of a new website (launched in early 2018) with focus on traffic conversion, seeing a 232% increase of leads generated on PY data.
• Offline Strategy – Complete overhaul of existing collateral to streamline industry verticals and target emerging applications.
• Event Management – Experience in event management on large global trade shows, as well as smaller distributor oriented regional events.
• Brand Management – Management of multiple Marcom strategies, utilising research analytics and industry knowledge to establish my brands in specific industries and audiences. Heavy focus on price justification. 
• Budget Management – Working within a tight budget to ensure that Marketing were aligned with sales targets and regional initiatives. Particular focus on areas with a high ROI.
• Stakeholder Relationships – Working closely with Sales and Product Management to ensure that the technical elements of the product are properly represented in all marketing assets, as well as supporting new product development within the company.

Reporting to, and working closely with the Managing Director, I was employed as a Recruitment Consultant, creating new business, organising and attending meetings with clients and candidates, and ensuring a positive stakeholder experience with the firm. Working with 2nd City allowed me to develop my skills since graduating from university and the many face-to-face interviews with clients and managing their particular challenges confirmed my enjoyment of stakeholder management.
Responsibilities:
•	Business Development – Responsible for creating new business through events, social media, lapsed client outreach, etc.
•	Stakeholder Relations – Booking regular meetings with both clients and candidates, gaining key information in the process and maintaining a good relationship for all parties. 
•	Negotiation of Pricing with Clients – Negotiating recruitment fees with clients, operating with relative autonomy on pricing points depending on different circumstances and variables.
•	Representing the Company – Responsible for representing 2nd City when attending expos and events, while networking to promote the standing of the firm.

Working with Freeman Technology granted me marketing experience in a relatively niche industry, where buying decisions of clients are often a long process.
Responsibilities:
•Creation of Marketing Strategies – Creating year-long marketing strategies and eventual evaluation of said strategies using tools such as Google Analytics etc. These ideas are still utilised by the company today and have influenced future campaigns.

•Analysing Competitors – Using tools to analyse performances of main competitors, such as Google Analytics.
