Most people would grab that offer in a heartbeat.

✔ Serving people
✔ Changing careers. Transforming lives
✔ Live a lifestyle that gives me flexibility
✔ Being present for my 3 young kids

𝐓𝐡𝐞 $250𝐊 𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫 𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐝:
❌ In-office hours and travel
❌ Selling, instead of serving people
❌ Less time with the people who matter most

It would have 𝐩𝐚𝐢𝐝 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞, but it would have 𝐜𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐨𝐨.

And I am no longer willing to compromise my 𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐞, 𝐩𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧, and 𝐩𝐮𝐫𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐞 for money and status.

Yauhan Mehta

Yesterday, on my birthday, I received hundreds of beautiful messages from family, friends, clients, and colleagues.

But one message completely stole my heart…

A handwritten card from my 11-year-old daughter, Myrah.

It said “Best Dad in the World,” and she put so much thought, creativity, and love into it.

She may be a girl of few words…

But when she expresses her love, it often leaves me in tears.

This post is a gratitude post.

Something happened yesterday that I won’t forget for a long time.

Yesterday, on 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐌𝐞𝐧'𝐬 𝐃𝐚𝐲, I was reminded yet again that 𝐬𝐮𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐝𝐨𝐧’𝐭 𝐚𝐥𝐰𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐰𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐜𝐚𝐩𝐞𝐬.

All three of my kids were home with a stomach flu.
I had a full day of meetings.
My wife had work commitments too.
The chaos was real.

So I picked up the phone and called my Dad.

And without hesitation…
As soon as he was up…
He showed up.
He played with the kids.
Held them.
Fed them.
Comforted them.

He didn’t ask questions.
He didn’t make it complicated.
He just did what great dads do,
He saved the day.

Today, this post is for him.

And for every dad, grandfather, uncle, mentor, stepdad, or father figure who quietly shows up — not just once, but over and over again.

International Men’s Day is a day to recognize, appreciate, and celebrate the men in our lives...

Fathers, brothers, friends, colleagues, partners, leaders and the countless contributions and sacrifices they make every single day.

Men give, provide, protect, build, support, and often do it quietly without expecting acknowledgment.

But today, I want to say this loud and clear:
𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐯𝐨𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬.
𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐞𝐱𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬.
𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐬𝐞𝐞𝐧, 𝐯𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐞𝐝, 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐝, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐝.

😟 𝐀𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝 13 𝐦𝐞𝐧 𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐨𝐰𝐧 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞, every single day.

𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐬𝐞 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐧𝐮𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐬.
👨‍👦‍👦 These are fathers.
👨‍👦‍👦 Husbands.
👨‍👦‍👦 Sons.

Today, I was sitting by the window with my toddler 👦 

We watched the wind gently pull the last few leaves off the trees outside.

And in that quiet moment, I had a realization.

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐰𝐚𝐬𝐧’𝐭 𝐟𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠.

𝐈𝐭 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐬𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐲… 𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐠𝐨.
Trusting that a new season will come.

And it made me reflect deeply on my own life.

𝐍𝐨 𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐫 𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐧 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐦𝐲 𝐯𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐞𝐬, 𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐞, 𝐨𝐫 𝐩𝐮𝐫𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐞...
𝐀𝐧𝐝 𝐈 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐥𝐞𝐭 𝐠𝐨 𝐨𝐟 𝐦𝐲 𝐫𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐦.

Letting go won't be easy.
