I am an obsessively competitive problem solver in the very narrow space of b2b SaaS sales. After working at my first startup (Main Street Hub) when I moved to Austin from Brooklyn, I knew I found my professional calling. Sales to me is a creative, and honorable profession that I enjoy immensely. I have been fortunate enough to work with my business partner on multiple start up success journeys ever since. I consider myself an eager student of Austin’s emerging tech talent and start up scene. There is so much talent and opportunity blossoming at this time! Happily and passively evaluating where my unique expertise and passions can move the needle in revenue for the right team. Creating a model for predictable revenue in 2023 requires a sales playbook customized to each company’s unique needs. No two start ups are alike. Unfortunately before most start ups get to customization they are hit with basic and preventable problems in Sales 101. Examples would be: scripts, demos, understanding churn, identifying KPI’s, recruiting, comp plans, email campaigns, cold calls, prospecting, identifying ideal customer profiles’, assessing your TAM, ignorance of the competitive landscape, learning to consistently deposition the competition, create content, build relationships, flip the funnel, upsells, customer success, retention, social media, marketing etc. If your startup manages to get its sales basics in order that is still no recipe for success. This is where sales becomes a highly creative process. You must have the sales acumen to read the startup’s “problems” as a roadmap to your success.
