When I talk with founders they understand the value of building brand on LinkedIn. Who wouldn't want warm inbound leads each week? But the most common question is, "How do I start? What do I write about?" Here are good topics to start with: - What are prospects asking in sales calls? What are common objections? - - What do you explain on calls to customers or team members? These are great topics. - - Share your founder journey - What lessons and challenges have you experienced. - - Use your expertise to teach about your industry and your solution. Why do people need it? Talk about controversial topics - How are you doing it better and differently? AI is an incredible tool that takes away the heavy lifting. This is the setup I use with founders: 1. Fill out a worksheet about your startup and your experience. 2. Create a free GPT account and put it in the memory. Then each time you want to create a post: 3. Use one of the above ideas and write 2-3 sentences. The GPT will finish it for you and draw on the background information. Make light edits and post it. I love watching founders grow into this process. One of my founders posts daily and has over 19,000 followers and gets leads almost daily. My suggestion is to make 1-2 posts each week. My daughter called me. She was overwhelmed by 22 doctor appointments scheduled over 5 weeks. She's near the end of a high risk pregnancy. She has a large team of doctors tracking her progress. They want to see her twice a week. On the call we talked about the options. Thereโs another wrinkle. Her husband was laid off before the new year.
