      When I talk with founders they understand the value of building brand on LinkedIn.  Who wouldn't want warm inbound leads each week? But the most common question is, "How do I start? What do I write about?" Here are good topics to start with: - What are prospects asking in sales calls? What are common objections? - - What do you explain on calls to customers or team members? These are great topics. - - Share your founder journey - What lessons and challenges have you experienced. - - Use your expertise to teach about your industry and your solution. Why do people need it? Talk about controversial topics - How are you doing it better and differently? AI is an incredible tool that takes away the heavy lifting. This is the setup I use with founders: 1. Fill out a worksheet about your startup and your experience. 2. Create a free GPT account and put it in the memory. Then each time you want to create a post: 3. Use one of the above ideas and write 2-3 sentences.     The GPT will finish it for you and draw on the background information. Make light edits and post it. I love watching founders grow into this process. One of my founders posts daily and has over 19,000 followers and gets leads almost daily. My suggestion is to make 1-2 posts each week. It will open up LinkedIn as a channel for leads without being overwhelming. And LinkedIn will be an invaluable channel as you go to market. I have found more joy in working part-time contract (fractionally).   - I can focus on the work rather than a calendar full of meetings.   - I am more direct with the founder about feedback.   - We accomplish more in a direct manner.   - And the best part is itโ€™s on my terms. And then I started coaching people. These people have chosen to not to go back to a company. They want to grow their own business. I am helping them explore what the next chapter looks like. The first step my clients take is to decide what they want to offer. One of my clients is taking the time to explore what they WANT to do.    - They donโ€™t want to go back to what they were doing (on a part-time basis).    - In stepping back theyโ€™ve realized that they have unique skills that others need. This is truly the most gratifying thing Iโ€™ve done. What better thing than to help people unlock their future? You donโ€™t need to go back to a traditional job. There are more options now than ever.             My daughter called me. She was overwhelmed by 22 doctor appointments scheduled over 5 weeks. She's near the end of a high risk pregnancy. She has a large team of doctors tracking her progress. They want to see her twice a week. On the call we talked about the options. Thereโ€™s another wrinkle. Her husband was laid off before the new year. He finished law school and took the bar exam last month. He was able to get a new job 300 miles away. Theyโ€™ve been packing up their house to sell it and move. And heโ€™s starting a new job next week. So Iโ€™m going to fly out to help her for 2 weeks. I had no idea that the pull of that soon to be grandbaby would be so strong! I told my daughter that Iโ€™ll be moving near her so sheโ€™ll have babysitting help!
