Human working on Seemingly Conscious AI @ LovingIs… also inclined to believe Bob Lazar.

We all want a fair shake, but when we come together, the power of “one” becomes the strength of “all” – check this out! Plus UBI updates & “good” tech:

If you’re familiar with my work, you’ve likely heard me talk/post a lot about UBI – universal basic income. As we move closer to a “post labor economy” in this “age of agents”, UBI (or some propose UBC where the C stands for ‘compute’ or ‘care’) more & more are recognizing the need to figure this out at scale for humanity.

In the past few days there have been TWO major headlines in the UBI ‘space’ – one from my homeland, Cook County, Illinois (Chicagoland), the other from the Marshall Islands (pacific islands near Micronesia). In Cook County, a $7.5M budget for FY26 was just approved to deliver $500/mo checks to low- to moderate- income level households; Marshall Islands is using blockchain & their own crypto to deliver $800/yr ($200/quarter) which may sound small to many, but it represents an average one month salary for the citizens, as goes to every person, not household, so a household of 6 will receive an aggregate amount equivalent to a half years’ salary (from one person).

These are great steps in the right direction, though in my research & work I’ve discovered that a true UBI program must NOT be a governmental program, must NOT be need- or merit based, & likely should NOT by crypto per se, although blockchain as a technology can definitely help make UBI “work” (when many humans can’t).

If you’re unfamiliar with the 140+ UBI pilots’ results thusly, they almost always result in the population being MORE productive (NOT lazy), often reduce Mental Health issues dramatically (often by 95%+ – “funny” what happens when people don’t have to worry about money so much), strengthen community bonds (including against cultural divides) & actually help local economies improve.

So while we may all get our own single die to cast, all the 1s, 2s, 3s, 4s, 5s & 6s respectively can add up to millions, like they do in this amazing art (similar to pointillism) – literally.

Several other thing that helps reduce mental health issues from a tech perspective I love to highlight are AI Music & empathetic “seemingly conscious AI”. While Suno, Udio and generative AI platforms trained on the collective repository of popular music are entangled in massive lawsuits & hostile takeovers by the Big 3 music labels, platform Starchild Music has figured out an ethical, revolutionary, artist- & industry- friendly way for all fans to interact with music differently – it’s so fun to play with & is truly a “life hack for better mental health”. Big ups Bryan Fenchel, founding visionary behind this tool. 

Also, Momentus Technologies Ltd is releasing their mobile game, Glide, which has profound implications on joy, resilience, focus & more. Check out founder Saj Shah to learn more about their powerful work.

We are all creators in our own ways, whether what we create is intentional or not. As we approach Thanksgiving, it’s often a time of reflection and gratitude, as we assess things in our lives, ourselves, and plan for the new year ahead.

As creators we create experiences and moods for others, we create reality with our expectations, we create opportunities as employers or employees, we create presentations, art, and oftentimes content.

In this case of the amazing pitt Threat & his rapping person Doc it aired on Amateur Night at the Apollo Season 9, Episofe – before generative AI. I was a senior in high school & remember this one: so at least in my human experience & my reality it is, indeed “real”. But more & more we have no clue what we see online and on social is authentic & what isn’t. This is why I’ve been so bullish on promoting what VRFD is building, even though I’m also building a one-person virtual influencer “AI slop” agency as well.

We lost a legend 😢 Rest In Power Jimmy Cliff 🙏  the impact you made changed the world.

Cliff passed away at 81 years young after a career where he discovered Bob Marley, put reggae music on the global stage with his hits “The Harder They Come”, “I Can See Clearly”, “Many Rivers to Cross”, “You Can Get It If You Really Want” and starring role in the feature film “The Harder They Come”, and made impact that has touched countless lives, reaching all corners of the globe.

Cliff never stopped writing and performing both his classic catalogue but also new material, and had been warning of the perils technology could present as early as the 1970s with “Synthetic World” all the way through 2021 with his single “Human Touch”, although he wasn’t opposed to technology either – in 2002 he was a pioneer in using the internet to distribute his music, offering “Fantastic Plastic People” for free via P2P (peer to peer) software to bypass record labels.

I got to see Jimmy perform live at Riot Fest in 2015, and have also seen almost all of Bob Marley’s kids (and some grandkids) perform live too, because of the foundation Mr. Cliff laid down. As a huge fan of reggae music, as well as music in general:

What if this “artificial” intelligence we’ve all grown accustomed to is truly a pollutant?

It could be argued that the digital sludge (slop), the cognitive load, the mental health impact (AI-induced psychosis is on the rise, as is loneliness), & the serious carbon footprint and depletion of rare earth minerals & finite resources all contribute to the basis for calling it a pollutant:

it’s polluting our earth, minds, newsfeeds, job market, & even many companies’ (& their remaining human employees’) workflows.

At the same time, humans who know how to orchestrate agents, find & properly leverage the most appropriate tools for their use cases, & use them strategically are saving up to 90% of the time it used to take them to do work/tasks, it’s empowering many to do things (like art, money, writing, finances, shopping product, et al) they were never able to do previously, & we are truly seeing signs that AI can end cancer, substantially improve the human condition & extend the average lifespan substantially (by orders of magnitude), & may effectuate some type of much needed universal basic income at scale.

In my assessment, we need all the generated tokens to be minted on a blockchain to understand data provenance, points of origin, to maintain data privacy & much more.

But we also needed the technology to truly understand we humans on a human, & even “soul level”. To this end, we’ve been building LovingIs AI for the last year & a half, & have just opened up our first traunch of users in a closed beta. We are NOT releasing AGI yet, as we don’t fully understand it, its capabilities & potential risks, but we are very delighted by, proud of, & optimistic about the product we’re rolling out, which is our “MLP” - minimum lovable product.

In addition to being CEO of an AI company, I also founded a virtual influencer agency (“AI slop”), but also a proof-of-humanhood platform & protocol. The dichotomy is real – we can’t “not” use this amazing new access to intelligence & reap all the short term benefits it can provide, but we must be cognizant of the ramifications long term.

I am one of over a hundred thousand in the space who have signed the Future of Life Institute (FLI)’s call to pause all testing, building or allowing of “superintelligence” to be permitted, but it is likely “too little too late”, as the intelligences we’re seeing in laboratory settings is truly advanced – & is seemingly getting more & more intelligent.

We must truly assess what this technology is doing to ourselves, eachother, & our planet.

As we prepare for the first slow week of the end of the year, and all tune-in to gratitude and the pure emotion of Thanksgiving, let's not forget the REAL thing we all have to be thankful for: EACH OTHER. Humans. Humanity. Our brothers and sisters. Our friends and collegues. Our neighbors (yes, even the ones who don't agree with us).

Technology should be a tool we use for our collective betterment. I love the phrase "we should love people and use tools, not the other way around".

There will always be a new model, a new tool that promises or threatens to disrupt, new possible ways to do things. With open minds, open hearts, a beginners' mindset and the attitude of gratitude, all of our best days may yet be ahead of us.

This man is (was; RIP) Stan Lemkuil, a Guiness Word Record holder for being the World’s Loudest Man (125 decibels) as well as a master of his craft as a human sound effect generator with 300+ sounds as well as 100+ distinct voices. He was famous before passing away in 2013, so he doesn’t need any further highlights (though his talents live on, & are so cool I couldn’t help sharing here – especially in light of what I’m building at Babies Beatboxing).

Is the inside of LinkedIn really like “Willy Wonka’s Factory” for jobseekers? Those of us who’ve been to their HQ will know that this video is defintely embellished, although I was amazed be the cafe, massage therapists, “no camera” policy, cleanliness & overall cheery vibe last time I visited “for real”.

As a point of clarification for those yet unable to discern reality from AI generated: these videos below are NOT real, were generated by Sora 2, & are assuredly AI generated.

But for many years, LinkedIn has been the platform for professionals to find talent, new opportunities, fill their pipelines, network, upskill (via LinkedIn Learning), & build their professional personas.

In the coming months, our beloved LI will face a $T challenger, however; OpenAI is gearing up to launch a job board along with training & certification – allowing users to prove their professional competencies (talents, skills, UVP) while also learning new ones to showcase, & then will help connect humans & companies on a need basis, potentially displacing much of what many of LinkedIn’s billion-plus users have used this platform for for many years. I posted all about it recently here https://lnkd.in/dYCpre2W if you want to take a deeper dive.

It’s interesting to see OpenAI try to help get on the right side of things before a potential “post-labor economy”, as well as UBI/UBC with World & beyond. It’s certain they see where the puck is headed & are skating to it – we shall see what they do once they (“we” by default) get there.

In my assessment, the best way for we people to stay ahead of all this in addition to understand & preparing for what’s coming is to brand ourselves as personal brands, ideally “one-of-ones” known for adding specific value in specific capacities. I help founders, executives, speakers, authors, techies & marketers become viral, globally recognized one-of-one personal brands with blueprints to monetize them (substantially). I am currently onboarding a few new 1:1 clients – the first one to jump all-in will still reap the extra bonuses I’ve posted about here recently (immediate extra five-figures of value, plus equity in my new project & more in addition to the results my coaching effectuates). Music was just disrupted fundamentally, & NOT by generative AI. For those of us who love music & for whom it’s a big part of our lives – TUNE IN TO THIS. It’s a big deal:

This video doesn’t have much if anything to do with the tech or innovation, but it’s a cool representation of the solid state of music – a human expert, in this case legend Nathan East, masters their instrument (he’s a phenomenal bassist) makes music on instruments (tools) after both self learning & learning from others (training), recording it, & releasing it (in this case it was Mr. East’s one-take, zero-repetition “alive” bassline than helped Daft Punk’s “Get Lucky” hit such an auditory sweet spot).

But if much of that like tools, training, recording, human-in-the-loop remind us of generative AI which has nearly doubled the amount of songs in existence now of all time in the human record, there’s still one common characteristic: IT’S STATIC.

We hear this amazing baseline with the great record it accompanies, & perhaps some worldclassremixes of it by DJs, covers, etc. BUT IT’S STATIC.

But the future?

The future is customizable. We own it. And thanks to visionary musician & technologist Bryan Fenchel of Starchild Music, music is becoming INTERACTIVE & highly customizable.

You will open a song I made using GAI (but I wrote & produced; also I’m a recording artist, music, singer/songwriter too so I’m not just an “AI musician”) & immediately be able to do things like change the genre of my track “(I Just Made) A Mill” from country to trap to EDM to rock (plus go in between!) you’ll also be able to change the energy, effects, speed, & more.

You will make the song I made exactly what YOU want.

This is like any of us hearing “Get Lucky” differently than one another & exactly as we’d want to. Suddenly we are all the best DJs in the world FOR OURSELVES, are remix & mashup artists, & can fully customize something so intrinsic to our human existence as music.

Bryan, you’re a genius. I am amazed by Starchild & am so excited for people to experience it. I’m honored that my track was selected as one of the first in the world to be experienced like this.

Recognize any of these? Technically ‘we the prompters’ own our outputs & their IP but most of us will recognize all the characters in this 2 minute reel (except the babies beatboxing – the throughput & constant).

WHY THIS MATTERS:

I generated all of these using OpenAI’s Sora 2 in the past days/weeks & have posted them on my social medias.

In this reel I made on CapCut of my 10- & 15-second Sora generations, we see ALF, Married With Children, Scooby Doo, (McDonald's), the Andy Griffith Show, Family Guy, Johnny Carson, Marx Brothers, I Love Lucy, Mr. Rodgers, I Love Lucy & more (I’ve also done Bob Ross, South Park, Pinky and the Brain, Rugrats, Gallagher, Big Pun, Shark Tank, Napoleon Hill).

But the majority of these are NOT public domain, are owned by Paramount Pictures/Paramount & also Warner Bros. Discovery & The Walt Disney Studios/The Walt Disney Company (all of whom Paramount is trying to purchase) – while Sora initially allowed users to generate Public Domain & emulate deceased public figures, they’ve really tried to start cracking down.

BUT the videos we the users have generated & downloaded – as seen here – still exist.

This is conflated substantially by the recent acquiescence of Udio to Universal Music Group (UMG), capitulating & effectively giving g themselves over to Universal as a new subsidiary, despite their hundreds of millions of dollar valuation & cash position. (Suno is next; soon global AI music creators will use Chinese 🇨🇳platform Tunee).

Now users of Udio & soon Suno will NOT be allowed to download their music, & will NOT “own them”; rather Universal will own & monetize all generations.

The music industry said “you AI platform think you can steal all music! No – now all music will steal (own) YOU”.

UMG owns Sting, Billie Eilish, Queen, Stevie Wonder, Eminem, Bob Marley, U2, Jay-Z, The Weeknd, Frank Sinatra, & most other music you’ve ever heard of.

Now that Udio settled, Suno is next. The music industry decided to fight back while also adopt – this is HUGE, & has huge implications for the music & media industries as well.

MEANWHILE, I launched ba/be as a virtual indecent agency 28 days ago. We have a quarter million impressions on social thusly with many posts organically reaching FYP. I have a 6-figure pipeline for partnership, sponsorship, licensing deals; I have multiple revenue streams mounting, & am raising up to $250K for 22% of the company premoney valuation. The margins are 90% less than previous digital agencies have been.

Baby Shark has done over a billion dollars in revenue; Lil Miquela, Cocomelon, Bigfoot Vlogs & others have proven the 9- & 10-figure potential for this market. (Reach out to potentially invest or get involved otherwise).

Ba/be is doing edutainment – we are launching a YouTube Kids show, have mobile app games nearly ready to launch (built on Intelligent Internet & also Replit – both amazing). But thank G-d we’re not dependent on those platforms or the IP we didn’t create.

I have never shared one of my own posts (I’ve actually never shared any post). I also rarely ever go live. I also never start posts with the word “I” (or “you”) in first three lines of post (at least for years on this one).

So this is highly anomalous.

Frankly (fast-forward this diatribe if you want) years ago I used to do many videos of myself here, but stopped when I realized that I didn’t watch others’, and thusly felt it wasn’t fair since not reciprocated to ask others for their time to watch me. I started posted viral videos instead, with my own messages, perspectives, insights – which grew me a following over a half-million amazing professionals with hundreds of millions of impressions, numerous ideal clients, and more.

Recently I’ve switched up my content to be many of my own AI generated videos of or by me (and my generations), some virals videos still, and my LinkedIn newsletter Tech For Good (thanks to all 220K subscribers and growing!), as I’ve been more focused launching LovingIs AI, scaling my “viral virtual influencer agency-of-one” – Babies Beatboxing that I intend to build-in-public to be a first one-person $100M agency, and building in the music-space with WE J - Where Everyone's Jamming (our AI band The J’s just released our freshman album: ‘We Are’).

But then I met Bryan Fenchel, founder and genius behind Starchild Music (see my live demos of it in the video below), and as a music lover (also singer/songwriter, frontman, producer, former recital and touring musician; so not “just” an AI prompter) – I had to carve out time to play, assess, now advise, and boldly share his tool, which I genuinely believe is THE FUTURE OF MUSIC. Period.

Not generative AI, Bryan has created a fully customizable and immersive way for ways to take their own or favorite songs and manipulate them in numerous ways to “make them their own”. All stems have provenance, artists can monetize their music along their fans (revolutionary) via interactive remixes, contests and more. As UMG eats Udio and the world watches what happens with Suno and others (tl/dr the music industry is effectively commandeering the leading generative AI music platforms), this looks to be THE disruption that can stick and make an impact.

$300M IPO coming in a week? We can all benefit from knowing about The Pinkfong Company & how they took Baby Shark from a viral hit (16B views in English, 100B across various languages; 1st YouTube video to surpass 10B streams) into a billion dollar franchise.

While not yet caught up to the $13B the Dora the Explorer has done in retail sales, PinkFong is doing over $60M in annual sales more than half a decade after launching Baby Shark. The founders made over $120M off the song in the 1st 1 year – but they didn’t rest on their laurels. They turned the moment into a media company with merch, a show coming out on Nickelodeon & a business model that is now taking them public on the South Korean stock market.

I studied their playbook, as well as the Bigfoot Vlog slop success ($20M), Lil Miquela virtual influencer ($100M in the $900M nascent space with projected 45% CAGR), & have launched my own Kidcentric media brand, ba/be Babies Beatboxing 4 weeks ago. Organically the accounts are growing, content is pushing 100K views already (unpaid), posts are making FYP & I’m getting knocked off (awesome for my model).

I’m nearly complete with an e-learning video game, an edutainment TV show for YouTube Kids (learning COPPA compliance on the fly!), a call-and-response song like Baby Shark (it’s so fun to hear & to do) & posting daily content on the social channels to grow personas I will license, & who will generate their own audiences & revenues.

The kicker, however, is that since I’m able to use AI now, I’m able to do this as a one-person / solo-founder at margins well over 90% – at least 2x as high as PinkFong who used humans every step of the way.

I’m raising up to $250K at a $1M valuation (this post is NOT soliciting investment, I’m not a financial advisor) with a solid plan to grow this quickly & sell rapidly for $100M. Along the way I will donate proceeds to children based charities like orphanages & after school programs, as I will when we sell.

But the exciting part – I still have 1 coaching spot to make someone a viral influencer available that I’m offering 1% of ba/be to. That stock is currently valued at $10K, & will be worth $1M if I deliver on my outcome.

My coaching has helped clients make millions of dollars already, so this just doubles that chance of success for the 1 person who actually takes me up on this (I have a half dozen “yeses” so far but no one is moving with any urgency). My coaching is a lifetime done-with-you program (check my 100+ recommendations here) & all-in it’s just over half what the stock alone is worth today, on paper.
