I explore what most people don't. Tapped by National Geographic as their first Polynesian Explorer, I travel to the world's most remotest regions. I search in the least likely places for the greatest insights on leadership, human potential, and transformational change. From Wayfinders in Oceania to Fortune 500 boardrooms, I've shared these insights on 3 TED stages and at Oxford, Harvard and Stanford. Google, BCG BrightHouse, and other successful companies enlist me to help their teams think differently. But forget the titles and credentials. It's not about me or even about them. It's about us. About sharing the best of who we are. It's about finding ways through the uncertainty. Together. The greatest wisdom often comes from the most unexpected places. It comes from seeing things differently, from finding extraordinary solutions in ordinary places. This is how we can change the world. Hear from those who’ve experienced my work... “Elizabeth's timeless insights provided critical unlocks to our team and will no doubt do the same for a broad audience.” Ashley Grice, CEO BCG BrightHouse "Elizabeth is a spellbinding presenter and storyteller who embodies an inimitable coherence as a daring explorer, visionary, and courageous advocate for cultures around the world. She brings her work alive through stunning visual imagery and poetry into an unforgettable experience." Dr. Chellie Spiller, Leader-in-Residence, Oxford University "Elizabeth has greatly honored her Hawaiian heritage, where not long-ago cultural repression was the norm. She is superbly qualified for her global quest to find and protect the essence of at-risk cultures." Captain Don Walsh, National Geographic, Ocean Elder

Critics don't hate you. They hate being left behind. Even in the most challenging moments, do not to take their criticism personally. During those times, I do my best to remember: → Athletes celebrate beginners in the gym. → Entrepreneurs mentor startup founders. → Musicians applaud amateur performances. Why? Because masters remember their first steps. They've lived the journey. They know the courage it takes to start. The harshest judgment often comes from those standing still, watching others move forward. Your critics aren't your judges. They're your proof that you're in motion. What matters isn't who's watching, but who's walking beside you. What dream did you go after despite critics? ↓ I look forward to reading your comments! ♻️ Repost this to inspire your network to be brave. 🔔 If you found this valuable, follow me, Dr. Elizabeth Lindsey.
You are a masterpiece and a work-in-progress. In my years documenting Indigenous wisdom, I've witnessed a beautiful truth: → The you of yesterday → The you of today → The you of tomorrow They're different people, sharing an incredible journey. 3 universal principles I've discovered: 1. Change is your nature ↳ It's not a phase to overcome ↳ But your natural state of being 2. Resistance creates suffering ↳ Fighting change drains energy ↳ Embracing it releases power 3. Growth is cyclical ↳ Sometimes forward ↳ Sometimes inward ↳ Always purposeful The cultures that thrive don't resist evolution. They flourish with it. Your identity isn't a fixed point. It's a river, always flowing, always new. What version of yourself are you becoming? ↓ I look forward to reading your comments. ♻️ Repost this to inspire others on their journey. 🔔 Follow me, Dr. Elizabeth Lindsey, for more insights.
Rock bottom felt permanent. Turns out it was a launchpad. We've all been there. Rejections. Setbacks. Failures. Like you, I've had my share. The examples below remind us that numbers don't lie. They tell an extraordinary story: J.K. Rowling: 12 rejections ↳ 12 publishers turned down Harry Potter. ↳ Rowling has sold over 500 million books. Walt Disney: 302 rejections ↳ Investors believed Disney would fail. ↳ His empire now spans continents. Albert Einstein: Was labeled "slow" ↳ He didn't speak until age 4. ↳ He didn't read until age 7. ↳ He's now the face of modern physics. Vincent van Gogh: Sold only 1 painting in his lifetime ↳ He created over 800 masterpieces anyway ↳ His most expensive work today: $142.7 million Dr. Seuss: 27 rejections ↳ 27 publishers said "no" ↳ Now he's a household name Thomas Edison's response to 10,000 failures: "I haven't failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work." Here's what these numbers mean: ↳ They're not measuring failure ↳ They're measuring the price of success The question isn't "Will you fail?" The question is, "Are you willing to pay the price?" Success isn't about avoiding failure ↳ It's about being willing to fail. What price will you pay? I'd love to know. ♻️ Repost to inspire your network to be brave. 🔔 Follow me, Dr. Elizabeth Lindsey, for more insights.
Overnight success is a myth. Here's what matters... 8 rules that create lasting impact: 1/ There is no easy path. The universe doesn't give discounts on dreams. My journey has been filled with challenges and loss. 2/ Consistency wins. Intensity fades. Dramatic transformations catch eyes. Silent habits change lives. 3/ Pause and appreciate. Your next milestone isn't more important than this moment. The gift is Now. 4/ Take regular breaks. High performance requires deep recovery. Your best ideas come when you're well-rested. 5/ When it gets hard, don't give up. Resistance is the compass pointing to growth. Our greatest strength comes from struggles. 6/ Small acts of kindness are remembered. Legacy isn't built in grand gestures. It's created in small moments of grace. 7/ Preparation cures most fears. Confidence isn't a feeling. It's a practice. Build it through deliberate preparation. 8/ Busyness is not a sign of progress. Movement without direction is just exhaustion. I do my best to choose impact over activity always. Which principle matters to you most? I'd love to know.
