Previously, I could upload multiple images, but you could only look at one. 

This is definitely one of the most accurate images I have seen come out in regards to the face. Very glad you can identify AI-generated images with SynthID!

Even giants stumble.

When the Steam Machine experienced production errors last night, I was on the website at the time and saw the errors. It is a powerful reminder for all of us in tech: It happens to the best.

But it's not THAT IT HAPPENED, it's what we learn. We had over 75 software developers on the call today, and it felt like a great opportunity to share our experience from a technical perspective. I was also AMAZED that so many developers in the room started sharing insights as well! This is what community is!

As I experienced the error, it highlighted a critical, often-overlooked vulnerability: leaking sensitive data to the frontend.

Too many teams rely on "security by obscurity." They'll send an entire data object from the API and just filter it with JavaScript or TypeScript on the client. If the user can't see it, it's safe, right?

Wrong.

This is a security flaw, not just bad practice. Good habits are our best defense. The contract with the frontend should only include the data necessary for that view. Full stop. Treat every API response as if it's public.

This is more than a theory. Last night, I jumped into our Discord with over 75 software engineers (see picture!) to break this down, line by line. The appetite for building things right is huge.

I'm finishing the full talk to present at our meetup tonight. We have to build good habits, and it starts with conversations like these.

Last night a big org leaked a bunch of info on their frontend in production, I screenshot it. Let's learn from it and go over the ways you should be handling errors on your frontend to make sure you are leaking info in production!

I have really enjoyed this process even though it was difficult! This took 56 iterations to get the audio to this level. The video took 33 and I just kind of gave up. AI with numbers, fingers, or walking, is all kinds of messed up lol

"Bro is AI going to replace me at my job?!"

I'm not saying whether AI is going to replace you or not but if you are at a point where you can't send a single email back without using AI... You definitely are trying to train your replacement.

"Are people using Antigravity?" I am! I prefer Claude for coding, and it has 4.5 sonnets. I have actually been using it to make a little side project, and it has worked pretty well, but I have had to use VS Code and RooCode a few times to get it back on track.

They should let other Anthropic models on it so it could be a default. People are thinking it is for vibe coding, and I can see that potential angle, but the truth is, the editor works great, and I have had some pretty decent progress with it. Also, it's been interesting to try. It is new, so it is going to take some time to get to the level it needs to be at.

Unfortunately, especially for complex code, I don't feel like Gemini 3 Pro is good at it. Gemini is exceptional at UI related things, though. Frontend tasks, I feel like it is knocking it out of the park. Backend, it's not been great.

Anything content, text, emails, etc, related, Gemini is a very clear winner. Code is something else, though.
