If the thought of it doesn’t haunt you at night… You’re still in your comfort zone. You tell yourself you’re pushing your limits. You’re stepping into discomfort. Growing. Levelling up. I call BS. If it doesn't cripple you with fear, you're still playing safe. → You take on “hard” challenges…but you know you can handle them. → You do the “scary” things… but only the ones you’ve already mastered. → You call it discomfort… but it’s just controlled struggle. I know because I do it too. I've done many extreme fitness challenges. But let’s be honest, fitness is my comfort zone. Of course there's still tremendous value in setting yourself these challenges. But don't convince yourself it's discomfort, because it's not. I speak in front of my clients every week. Zero nerves. Total confidence. But put me on stage in front of hundreds? Different story. That’s real discomfort for me I feel the fear weeks before, in my mind, in my body, but I lean into it. "I feel the fear and do it anyway." Before a big fitness challenge, my heart rate steps up a notch, but it's not dreaded fear like when I step on stage. The truth is, the real growth is in the latter. → That conversation you know you need to have - but keep delaying. → That risk that makes your stomach turn - “not the right time.” → That big, game-changing decision - but you need “more certainty.” You’re hiding inside fake discomfort. The real hard thing? It’s the thing that makes you feel exposed. Vulnerable. Like you might fail publicly. Want to actually grow? Look at an area of your life that you're not so comfortable in and search there. Then stop running from it. Ps. I created a training on how to master your time, energy & focus. Comment PERFORM if you want me to send it.
Your environment is either fueling you or failing you. Most people think success is about discipline and willpower. But even the most disciplined person struggles in the wrong environment. You don’t need more motivation. You need an environment that makes success automatic. For years, I relied on willpower. I forced myself to focus. I tried to push through distractions. I blamed myself when I couldn’t stay consistent. Then I realised: It wasn’t me - it was my environment. → My social circle was filled with people who I didn't gel with. → My phone kept pulling my attention. → My schedule worked against my energy, not with it. So I changed it. And everything shifted. I stopped relying on discipline. I started designing my environment to work for me, not against me. Here’s how you can do the same: Learn the 6 key areas of environment design. ------ Ps. DM me 'TIME' for my free training; Reclaim Your Time, Energy & Focus [without working harder].
Most business leaders don’t have a motivation problem. They have a clarity problem. They say: “I want to be successful and take this business to X.” But when you ask them what that looks like?—they hesitate. You’re missing the 3 S’s of Success: → No clear strategy (they chase every new idea). → No supporting systems (they rely on willpower). → No deep significance (they’re chasing success without meaning). It’s not that they lack drive. It’s that they’re running without direction. The most successful leaders don’t just set goals. They create clarity, alignment, and execution. Here’s how to shift from blind ambition to meaningful success: → Define your strategy (what’s the real path to X?) → Build systems that sustain momentum (so you don’t burn out). → Discover the deeper significance (so success actually feels fulfilling). Ambition without clarity leads to burnout, not breakthroughs. Want to gain Clarity in 15 minutes? Drop “Clarity” in the comments & I’ll tell you how.
You can’t have the highs if you don’t have the lows. You won't enjoy success if you haven't come face to face with failure. Most people avoid discomfort. They resist change. They fear the dip before the rise. But what if I told you… Your next breakthrough is hiding in your biggest challenge? Every struggle comes with a gift: After a breakdown, comes a breakthrough. Believe that. → Self-doubt forces you to grow & expand your thinking. → Burnout teaches you to balance & systemise your lifestyle. → Failure builds resilience & an opportunity to grow & learn. I learnt my biggest lessons & created my greatest successes through challenge, breakdown & adversity. Stop waiting for things to get easier. Learn to navigate the lows, and you’ll unlock the highs. Build a resilient mind, body & soul. ♻️ Repost if you've created growth from adversity.
If you knew one habit was stealing 40% of your productivity, would you keep doing it? That's what happens when you task switch. You've created an environment where your brain is working against you. You think you’re being productive… But every time you switch tasks your productivity reduces by up to 40%. In 2009, Dr. Sophie Leroy introduced the idea of cognitive residue. The mental drag you feel when switching between tasks. Your brain doesn’t instantly reset when you move from one thing to another. It lags behind. The result? → You lose momentum → You get frustrated when you can't focus → You take longer to complete simple tasks. → You feel mentally drained & barely make progress. And yet, most leaders believe multitasking = efficiency. Wrong. Task-switching reduces productivity by up to 40%. If you don’t set up your day to fuel your performance, You’re fighting an uphill battle. Instead of working with your energy, you’re burning it in distractions. Here’s how to stop making things harder for yourself: → Time-block deep creative work: No distractions, just full focus. → Batch similar tasks together: Group emails, calls, & admin. → Turn off notifications: Your attention isn’t for sale. → Use transition rituals: Breathe, reset, & refocus before switching tasks. If you want to perform at your best, stop draining your energy on things that don’t serve your goals. Do less. But do it with full focus.
You've been lying to yourself for years You're NOT time-poor. You’re not drowning in work. You’re just bleeding focus. You don’t need more hours in the day. You need better awareness of where they’re going. Right now, your attention is being stolen: → Endless meetings that achieve nothing. → Emails that don’t move the needle. → Social media scrolling disguised as “self-development.” → Saying “yes” to everything instead of what actually matters. You say you’re “too busy.” Yet you make time for empty distractions. You feel overwhelmed - not because there’s too much to do... but because you’re juggling the wrong things. The highest-performing leaders don’t work harder, they focus on the right things. → They control their calendar instead of letting it control them. → They delegate what doesn’t require them. → They don’t let distractions dictate their day. If you feel stretched thin, ask yourself: Is this truly urgent, or just loud? You are in a cycle of RE-ACTION... 'Repeating-Actions'. It's time to take new actions, towards the person you want to become. PS. I created a free training on how to reclaim your time, energy & focus. [using a 3 step system, without working harder] Drop a comment "TIME" below if you want me to send it.

5 powerful performance systems I integrated to scale my performance in business and avoid burnout: 1/ The 4 hr Focus System → 30 mins prep, 2 hrs focus, 30 mins reflection, 60 mins intentional rest [eliminates scattered 8-hour days & fluffy work quality]. Want the full process? Comment 4hr Focus System. 2/ Win Your Morning Ritual → Mind, Body & Business: 1 habit to reset my mind, 1 habit to improve my body, 1 habit to focus on my business. 3/ Creative Days → Every week I have 2 creative days - I create these by packing my sales, coaching & collaboration calls into 2-3 days. 4/ Weekly Energy Audit → Every week I write down the list of tasks I completed, & I identify & eliminate low-impact tasks that drained me mentally. 5/ Sleep Optimisation → None of the above even matters if your sleep is in the bin. I don’t consume caffeine in the PMs, I optimise my day for 7.5 hrs sleep & avoid eating late. The truth is, I used to think burnout was a sign of success. “I’m so drained = I’ve worked so hard & been super productive.” Late nights. Early mornings. Always “grinding.” Until my body forced me to stop. One day, I hit a wall. → I couldn’t focus. → I lost passion for my work. → Even small decisions felt exhausting. But I ignored it… Until burnout forced me to wake up. I realised something powerful: High performance isn’t about working harder. It’s about systemising focus & recovering smarter. Stop trying to push through the problem, step out and reset your system. Burnout doesn’t happen overnight. It creeps up. And when it does, it’s already too late. Want any of the systems explained in detail? Comment 1-5 below.
I don’t play golf, I play search & destroy. But when I follow my ritual, things go well (kind of) I read & study elite athletes & elite business leaders. One thing that they have in common? They’re systemised & strategic. They don’t leave success to chance. That’s why they introduce systems & rituals. Many business leaders I come across don’t think this applies to them…it’s crazy. Literally leaving money on the table & wasting opportunities. My golf ritual: → Step behind the ball & visualise the end target. → Pick my spot on the fairway (chunk the goal) → Mentally draw a line from the ball to end goal → Take my grip firmly but not adaptable. → Set my stance & create optimal balance. → 2 Breaths & then into the backswing. Visualised the outcome, but present in the process. (Meanwhiem my intrusive thoughts; “don’t go in the water again for f**k sake.”) Rituals remove hesitation & guesswork. Consistency under pressure. Yet in business, people just “swing” without preparation. → No clear targets. → No structure before action. → No process for better decisions. Then they wonder why they’re inconsistent & chaotic. The best leaders & athletes don’t just play the game; They set themselves up to win it. Adopt this habit & systemise parts of your life. Your success is built in the setup, not just the execution. Ps. Any tips on how to not shank my driver right every time gets a free 30-min coaching session 🤣 (100% serious)
The exact process I took this client through on his first session: [see the picture for the outcome] A CEO I've just started working with had big decisions to make. → His mind was clouded. → His emotions were bottled up. → He couldn’t see the next move clearly. High achievers are used to solving problems. But when the problem is you [your mindset, patterns, and blind spots] You can’t always see the way forward alone. Here's what we did in the session (and I didn’t just give him advice): I created the space for him to find his own answers. 1/ I let him express what he had been suppressing. 2/ I listened - not just to his words, but to what was beneath them. 3/ I asked the hard questions that forced him to pause & reflect. 4/ I challenged how he was thinking & operating. 5/ I shared 3 quotes that deeply resonated with his situation. 6/ I took him through a practical exercise to shift his perspective. By the end? → His mind was clearer. → His next steps were obvious. → He finally felt back in control. Sometimes, you don’t need more strategies. You need a space to think differently. If you feel stuck, ask yourself: When was the last time someone truly challenged your thinking? Want an external voice to help you unlock holistic high performance? DM me HOLISTIC & we can chat.
If more people realised the way they speak dictates the results they get; they'd be able to reach their goals with certainty. Most people aren’t actually committing to their goals. They think they are. But their language tells a different story: → “I kind of want to grow my business this year.” → “I might go to the gym after work.” → “I’ll try to show up consistently.” It's fluffy... Soft talk = soft results. Your belief system is manifested in your language and behaviour. This then directly impacts the action you do or do not take.. Here’s what solid talk sounds like: → “I WILL grow my business to X MRR this year.” → “I AM going to the gym after work, even if I feel tired.” → “I SHOW UP consistently, despite external circumstances.” Solid talk = solid results. One creates hesitation. The other creates momentum. ♻️ Repost for a softie today 😉
My clients all want the same thing Not just to be part of another random “community.” Not just to run. Not just to network. They want the fastest, most effective route to success—without sacrificing what matters. And they know the key is being surrounded by people who demand more from themselves & each other. → Systems that sharpen discipline & elevate standards. → Tools that rewire mindset & habits for peak performance. → A structure designed for sustainable behaviour change. This isn’t just another feel-good group. It’s a high-stakes environment exclusively for paying clients who are serious about investing in themselves. A committed circle that removes excuses, reinforces growth, and makes success inevitable. If you’re in the UAE & want to be part of a high-performance community that actually drives results, DM me “MASTERMIND.” Big respect to these guys for showing up at 6:30am: Beka Tchulukhadze Kameron Hutchinson Tim Popplewell David Galea
I took a risk that made no sense for my financial future or career. Not to me. Not to my friends. Not even to my mentor at the time. Everyone thought I was delusional. And for months, I believed them. I felt like an idiot. [To be honest, they were right 🤣] But I was second-guessing myself daily, watching everything I had built slip through my fingers. I had zero certainty that this would work. But there was a small, deep-rooted belief that I couldn’t ignore. And that small % of belief kept me moving forward. At 23, I had a choice: 1️⃣ Stay in my lane. Keep growing as a personal trainer & online coach. Stay comfortable. Keep the money coming in consistently. 2️⃣ 180 Flip; Rebrand. Reinvent. Position myself as a high-performance coach. Start from scratch. Obviously, me being me… I chose the harder option. And for months, it felt like the wrong move. → Uncertainty – Was I actually cut out for this? → Doubt – Who was I to call myself a high-performance coach? → Pressure – Could I prove everyone wrong, or was I proving them right? I had just hit my biggest month in business. On paper, I was winning. But inside? I knew something was off. I was great at what I did. But it wasn’t aligned with who I wanted to become. So I flipped everything. → The business. → The brand. → The offer. → The services. I didn’t pivot because things were broken. I pivoted because they could be better. And that “mistake” turned out to be the best decision I ever made. The truth about big decisions: Most people wait for certainty before they make a move. They wait for proof that it’ll work. They wait for permission from others. But the best decisions? They don’t feel safe. They feel terrifying. → You’ll doubt yourself. → You’ll feel like you’re failing. → You’ll question if you should turn back. But if you’re waiting for certainty? You’ll be waiting forever. The only way to know if you made the right choice is to MAKE IT RIGHT. What’s a decision that felt risky but changed everything for you?
Overthinking stole more opportunities from me than failure ever did. It's the most expensive habit I ever engaged in. And as a business leader, it's destroying your progress. I used to think it was a sign of intelligence & caution. Always analysing. Always questioning. Until my mind became my biggest obstacle. One day, I realised the cost. → I hesitated on big decisions. → I wasted hours on “what-ifs.” → I felt stuck, even when I had options. → I ended up doing nothing, when I could have done anything. But I ignored it… Until overthinking paralysed my progress. And the worst part? It wasn’t just about time wasted - it was about energy drained. Every decision I obsessed over stole mental real estate. I was burning mental calories on every ‘what if’ that came to mind. I was exhausted, not from action, but from indecision. Then I had a breakthrough: There’s a fine line between doubting yourself and thinking critically. Between overthinking and asking the right questions. One keeps you stuck. The other moves you forward. Here’s how I broke free: → The 2-minute rule (if it takes less than 2 minutes, do it). → Reverse decision-making (commit first, adapt later). → Limit choices (fewer options = faster action). Overthinking doesn’t make you smarter. It just makes you slower. Want my Decision-Making Blueprint? Drop “DECISION” in the comments. PS. Did you know the word decision comes from the latin origin ‘to cut off’.

When I first moved to Dubai, I felt lost. The ambition was incredible but the pressure was suffocating. → supercars wherever you go → luxury penthouses & villas left, right & centre. → people screaming about their 7 & 8-figure businesses. Everywhere, I saw success. I kept asking, “Why am I not there yet?” That thought debilitated me. How I moved past it & fuelled it for my own creativity: → I changed my environments; physical & mental. → I changed my definition of success. → I started measuring using different systems. → I began tracking my own progress vs my past progress. → I set clear, personal goals that meant something to me. → I celebrated every small win. Comparing yourself with an 'ideal' or someone else isn't a fair test. You haven't been through what they have or sacrificed what they have. Everyone knows comparing yourself with others is toxic but how do you stop? "Where focus goes, energy flows" Fill your mind with thoughts from your own experience & progress. Compare yourself with your past self. Would you let strangers into your home if you thought they were dangerous? So why give up your Mental Real Estate to others who fill it with negativity? The most successful leaders I work with don't waste energy watching others. They focus on what they're building. Repost for your ambitious friends/colleagues who relentlessly compare themselves to others ♻️
83.3%. That’s my sales success rate this year - and this is exactly how I've done it: If you think this is about numbers, you’re missing the point. Most people treat sales like ticking something off & tracking metrics. "Sales is a numbers game." More calls. More emails. More outreach. They think revenue solves all problems. Numbers don’t build trust. Numbers don’t create loyalty. Numbers don’t turn a struggling client into a thriving one. Numbers-driven leaders will sell unethically & chase the sale. That's where I've changed my approach. I’ve seen leaders chase numbers while: → Ignoring the people who drive their business. → Burning out in pursuit of short-term wins. → Losing sight of the real mission. → Selling unethically - making empty promises. You don’t scale through harder work. You scale through deeper impact. Don't get me wrong; I track everything relentlessly. "what gets measured, gets managed." I have CRMs and sheets for everything I do. But I've learnt how to sell without selling. Because for me, sales is a 'People Project.' → Every sale I make is a chance to help someone. → Every deal closed means a real-world impact. → Every client gained is a relationship built, not a transaction. When you put people first: The numbers take care of themselves. Who agrees?
At 22, I was coaching CEOs during the week… And drinking myself silly on the weekends. Fast forward to now; I drink (2-3 glasses of wine) 5 or 6 x p/y I’ve overcome my insecurity of lacking confidence. I’m speaking in front of global companies. I’m living true to my values & totally aligned. The thing is back then; I wanted to be successful. I wanted to be seen as a leader. I wanted to build something real. But my behaviours and values were completely misaligned. → I was partying every weekend, numbing self-doubt. → I was chasing validation instead of building confidence. → I was avoiding my own insecurities instead of facing them. I told myself I was just “enjoying life.” But deep down, I knew the truth: I was hiding. → Hiding from the inner work. → Hiding from my potential. → Hiding from who I needed to become. That version of me could never build what I have today. Now? Fun is building my business with purpose. It’s living and breathing my message. It’s becoming the leader I once looked up to. And as a result: → I coach CEOs and business leaders. → I speak on stages for global companies. → I’m building a community of high performers in the UAE. → I live in full alignment with my purpose. The biggest shift? Identity. I stopped waiting to feel “ready.” I stopped chasing short-term highs. I became the person I aspired to be. Success isn’t about what you have. It’s about who you become. Ask yourself: Are your habits aligned with the person you say you want to be?
The top 1% of high performers do this: - Run (exercise) in the morning - Close deals in the daytime - Socialise, relax or quality family time in the evening Most ambitious people set goals & sacrifice everything else. (Because they don’t have the peripheral vision, accountability & systems to support their focus) So they burn out, or neglect the things that matter. But it doesn’t have to be that way. Here’s what I’m teaching my guys to do: 🎯 Set your primary goals: Eg: 1/ Close X deals in 90 days 2/ Maximise potential in business 3/ Scale business to X ♻️ Set secondary systems: Eg: 1/ 15 minute ‘master your morning’ ritual for improved health & presence. 2/ time-blocking productivity system for optimised daily performance. 3/ family/partner or self time ritual - Thursday evenings 5pm out of office & family/partner/self activity. This is holistic high performance. Success that actually feels good. Don’t ever lose sight on the real fruits of life. Today we spoke about the deals the guys have on the table & big changes coming in their industries. Imagine spending your Friday morning discussing: - What deal you’re about to close. - How you’re going to show up to your first meeting. - What focuses, commitments & intentions you’re setting. Pure growth. Thanks to my clients for showing up at 6:30am: Tim Popplewell Joe Butler William Walker Jai Vine Apply to join the highest performing mastermind coaching group in the UAE: DM ‘MASTERMIND’
“Do what you love & you’ll be happy.” Said my mum for my entire life… (Think she missed out the part where I’d breakdown, doubt myself, question my ability, lose my way, get rejected 100x, make stupid decisions, collapse my self-worth with my success/failure and all the rest of it) But she’s the reason I’m so persistent & resilient. Because I know that doing what I love will lead the way. Many people don’t receive this kind of love from their Mum, so even though she left us too early, i’m the luckiest person alive to have had this for 25 years. These were the morals she drilled into me: 1/ Be kind to everyone. 2/ Money & fame mean nothing without love. 3/ Do what you love in your career & you’ll be happy. This isn’t just another cliché post. It’s real advice (that u didn’t fully appreciate when she was with us). I’ve been reading Sahil Bloom’s The 5 Types of Wealth, and his section on time wealth hit hard. He talks about how we only have a limited number of times left to see our parents & grandparents. For me, that number ran out too soon. I left home at 18 & lived abroad for most of my adult life. My mum passed away when I was 25. In her last years, I saw her maybe 3–5 times a year. A heavy reality. A big burden that weighs on me. And a wake-up call that came too late. So now, I’m on a mission. A mission to help others see the bigger picture - to set and achieve their biggest goals without sacrificing what truly matters. Success, wealth, impact - they all mean nothing if you wake up one day full of regret. I had the focus but not the systems. I didn't have the peripheral that I needed. It is possible to acquire the focus to pursue 1 meaningful goal & build effective systems to thrive in both business & life. This is how to create real freedom. You just have to decide to do it before it’s too late. 💜 Happy International Women’s Day. To the women who brought us into this mad place & leave a mark that never leaves.
