➟ Your messaging should be clear, concise, and persuasive.

3. Understand the problem you solve.

The first step to solving a problem is understanding it.
Take the time to really understand the challenges your target audience is facing.

How I close deals without worrying too much

(while not even trying to close and focusing on content)

In one week

I worked with most prospects on discovery calls while it was still early in the process.

I didn’t even have a closing pitch.

People wanted to work with me anyway.

I relied on

- Pre-selling through content (most important part)  
- Pre-qualifying prospects  
- Building trust and credibility  

Now my system is a lot more, shall we say… systematic.

Here’s how I closed deals every day last week:

1) Pre-selling with content for prospects who

- Already know what I offer  
- Understand the benefits  
- Are interested in working together  

It’s important to not hard sell.

Instead, do this:

- Address common objections upfront  
- Showcase the value of your services  
- Build trust and credibility  

2) Pre-qualifying prospects

I like to ask strategic questions

I prefer the direct approach. It feels less pushy.

The booking process has

- Alignment checks  
- Fit assessments  
- Readiness gauges  
- Strategic questions  

It does not have

- Unnecessary steps

I like to leave it out and discuss alignment in real time in the call.

3) Aligning conversations

80% of prospects won’t commit right away

Even if they like what they hear.

They’re too cautious and need time. It’s normal.

It’s your job to guide them.

4) Getting commitment & follow-up

If they like what they see

Get them to commit to a next step within the next week.

After the next step, I ask two questions:

- Are we aligned?  
- Are you ready to move forward?  

This eliminates people who are just “window shopping” or “not serious”

5) Sending pre-call material

I like to send a detailed overview that explains the offer even more in-depth.

That way they really understand the opportunity and can ask specific questions before the next step.

This way the next step focuses entirely on their needs and the problems they’re facing and how I can help solve them

6) Closing the deal

The benefit of all the preparation is that they’re more ready to commit at the end of the call.

But they might not be, and that’s okay.

Get them to commit to a follow-up action or a specific time to make a decision by.

This isn’t always necessary depending on the situation

But it’s a good habit to get into.

Clients interested in additional value? 

Offer related services. 

This increases their investment and enhances their experience.

4. Upsell
Clients want even more? 

Offer premium services or advanced coaching. 

This maximizes their value and deepens their commitment.

Don’t limit your service's potential.

Maximize every selling opportunity.

How long on average most of my clients have been following me before buying from me.

3 - 6 months.

Now imagine if I’m bouncing from one offer and messaging to the other, every month.

The most important lead generation and sales KPIs to track each week

Ever since I started tracking KPIs for myself and my clients each week...

The results we've been generating have been noticeably better.

What I realized is all the key insights I was looking for already lied within the data I had.

• The inefficiencies
• The best performing angles
• What I should and shouldn't double down on

That's why I created a KPI tracking sheet that I update each week for clients and for myself.

It covers all the most important lead generation and sales KPIs.

Here are a list of some of the most important ones to keep track of for lead generation:

Cold Email

• Emails sent per week
• Positive reply rate
• Reply to call rate
• Demos booked

LinkedIn

• Connections sent
• Acceptance %
• Positive Reply %

It's important to note:

Every time we receive a positive reply from any channel, we add that lead to the CRM.

Then we move them in the CRM if we get them to book in a demo call.

Those are some of the most important KPIs to track for lead generation.

Now, here are the ones we track for sales:

• Total Demos booked
• Total Demos taken
• % of qualified leads
• Sales calls booked
• Sales calls taken
• Deals closed
• Cash collected

We track all of this in a Google Spreadsheet (but this can also be done inside your CRM)

Doing this will help you achieve far better results, without feeling like you're taking shots in the dark.

Remember (Trust = Business)

Only 3% of your audience are “right now buyers”

Rest of the 97% you need to educate them.
