I’m an accountant that enjoys being involved in all aspects of business and thrives on researching and implementing new processes and procedures. I’m a driven learner and am attracted to people and organizations who strive toward the same goal of constant evaluation and improvement both professionally and organizationally. I've been in financial leadership positions for over 15 years and earned an accounting degree and MBA. I enjoy learning new software and systems and have extensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel. When digesting difficult and complex problems, I have an exceptional capacity for filtering out noise and coming up with clear and actionable solutions. This allows me to get in the trenches and reverse-engineer any system or methodology while at the same time keeping the big picture goals in mind. I’ve lead financially and strategically through ups and downs by never settling for good and always striving for great. I've had opportunities in my career to use my creative problem-solving skills to create an organizational structure that is adaptable to the ebbs and flows in business, maximizing profitability and efficiency at each stage. I love traveling, reading, sports, and about anything that will challenge me personally. I’ve hiked the Half Dome in Yosemite, gone to countless Oklahoma State football games, and try and read more books than my wife on an annual basis. I love competition and have been known to turn daily activities into Olympic-style events.
