My passion is to help clinicians in healthcare rediscover their why and their mission in order to level up in their personal and professional lives. I discovered the power of coaching during the pandemic and became a Certified Professional Coach specializing in energy leadership. What is energy leadership? Energy is what we bring when we have the capacity to be the fullest expression of ourselves. Energy influences how we show up in the world and how we show up as a leader. We all lead all the time. Wonder where to begin? Click here to download self-reflection questions & join my weekly mailing list: https://lillian-emlet.squarespace.com/free I believe everyone on the healthcare team can benefit from a coach: physicians, nurses, pharmacists, social workers, executives, management, OT/PT, nutritionists, RT! Imagine a healthcare team and system that actually works for you, the frontline clinician, rather than setting you and your colleagues up for burnout? Together, we can and will transform healthcare. High-performing physician leaders often tell me: “I’m productive… but I’m exhausted.” In healthcare, we've normalized performance under pressure. But what happens when the pressure becomes chronic and unexamined? It becomes burnout. Here's the truth: 👉 Performance that isn’t supported with an intentional strategy to manage stress, then leadership will eventually collapse — and take teams with it. I work with physician executives and department leaders to: ✅ Sustain high performance without burning out ✅ Manage stress in real-time — not just after-hours ✅ Build teams that reflect their leadership energy When leaders learn how to shift their internal energy, the ripple effect is profound: Meetings run smoother Decisions get clearer Teams feel more supported Because how you lead under pressure becomes how your team performs under pressure. 🧠 If you're a physician leader or executive ready to reclaim your energy — without sacrificing performance — I’d love to connect in the DMs and continue the conversation. #HealthcareLeadership #ExecutiveCoaching #PhysicianLeadership #BurnoutPrevention #PerformanceUnderPressure

Burnout doesn’t start with broken people — it starts with unacknowledged stress that becomes cultural. I see it all the time with physician leaders: They’re pushing through, getting results, juggling priorities — and the team starts showing signs of fatigue, disengagement, even resentment. Here’s what we miss: 👉 Unmanaged stress at the leadership level sets the tone for the entire team. When I coach healthcare leaders, we don’t just talk about mindset. We also talk about: How your energy shows up in the room How stress is passed down unintentionally How performance improves when your team feels safe, seen, and supported Through structured coaching and Energy Leadership Index™ (research-backed individual and 360 tools by the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching), we help healthcare execs lead with clarity, reduce friction, and recover their passion for the work — while rebuilding their team’s energy as well. If you're leading through high stress but don’t want to lead alone, we would be happy to explore how coaching could support you and your team. ➡️ DM me to connect, and let's continue this conversation. 🩺 Clinical leadership during uncertainty It feels like walking on a tightrope— balancing patient care, team morale, and constant change. Organizations with strong cultures are 4x more likely to adapt successfully to change. --McKinsey & Company What does that tell us? ➡️ Even in chaos, connection matters. But leaders can’t create that kind of culture if they’re running on empty. We support clinical leaders navigating the messy middle—helping them lead with clarity without carrying it all alone. If you’re holding a lot right now, you’re not weak for needing support. You’re wise to get it. What’s helped you stay grounded when everything around you is shifting? #clinicalleadership #healthcarecoaching #coachinghealthcare #leadingthroughuncertainty

April means spring, new life, and Donate Life Month. Bumping this to everyone's awareness. Thank you Alin Gragossian for all that you do in advocacy, leadership, speaking, and clinical care! #donatelife #transplant #healthcare

April is Donate Life Month, and if you work in healthcare, you probably already know the clinical side. But how often do we look at the human side? I’m a heart transplant recipient and a critical care doc—which means I’ve stood on both sides of the bed. I’ve held a stethoscope in one hand and a pen to sign a consent form in the other. I’ve been the one coding a patient… and the one remembering the sleepless nights thinking, "I hope I don't code." This month, remember: - Talk to your loved ones, colleagues, and patients about donation before it's urgent - Know your hospital’s organ referral process—because one call can change everything - Educate others about how one life can save up to 8 lives and help improve the lives of 175+ others Organ donation is one of the rare moments in medicine where a tragedy can become someone else's second chance. 💚💙 So thankful for everything I've been able to do because of my organ donor, Lucy, and everything my transplant surgery has done for me. #DonateLife #DonateLifeMonth

Growing up and getting through decades of schooling in order to get accepted to medical school… Then meeting the standards required of professional training as a physician… And moving into becoming an educator shaping the teaching, assessment, and competencies for specific skills… Are all opposite skills of business brand development, marketing, and becoming a coaching company. One of the many iterative exercises I have had to do is to shift my thinking towards stepping into Sally Hogshead concepts. When we can operate in our zone of genius, and embrace our uniqueness, and more importantly communicate our uniqueness, the rest will follow. Finding your uniqueness is not as easy as it sounds. Many thanks to the multiple coaches, communities, creator education, masterminds, and seminars that I have invested in to continue to refine this. What will you do today to find your own story inside? DM me if you are interested in connecting! #coachinghealthcare #healthcarecoaching Thank you Matt Ragland’s WRAP Newsletter for sharing this quick article!

The hidden reason why leadership development programs struggle to sustain healthcare leadership wellbeing? Most hospital systems offer some version of leadership training… But what happens after the workshop? The physician leader goes back to a team under pressure. The inbox is still flooded. The stress hasn’t changed — just the expectations. That’s why we partner with HR and leadership development teams to provide longer-term external support that builds on internal leadership programs: ✅ 6-12 month executive coaching for physician leaders ✅ ELI360 evaluations ✅ Strategic stress and energy coaching to improve performance and prevent burnout The result? Leaders show up with clarity, capacity, and influence. Teams begin to model the same behavior. Culture shifts from the inside out. If you're responsible for developing your organization’s physician leaders — I’d love to share how this approach strengthens retention, resilience, and results. ➡️ Let’s talk about what your teams are up against in the DMs so that we can continue the conversation with a 1:1 telephone or video call. #HealthcareLeadership #ExecutiveCoaching #PhysicianDevelopment #BurnoutPrevention #TeamPerformance #HRLeadership #coachinghealthcare #healthcarecoaching Gillian Faith ACC, SHRM-SCP, ELI-MP, CPQC
