I would’ve spent times to thoughts, coming out of somewhere, by default reaching out into the deepest waters my mind was drawn to.
Honestly, this book is giving a realistic view of my very living, how thoughts were flowing like a river as soon as they were throwing a target to identify the born newness.

My parents still don’t understand my job.

But here's what they understand:

- I’m not tied to a 9-to-5 job schedule. 
- I can work from anywhere in the world.
- I’m earning more than they ever imagined.
- I have 100% control of my work-life balance.
- I can afford things they never could at their age. 

So yeah… if you ask them, their daughter works...

What they don’t see:

Everyone says freelancing is EASY — but I 100% disagree.

You’ll hear things like:

"Marina, make my content sound "professional"  

"Marina, can you do one more revision?" 
 
"Marina, I need this done in an hour."  

"Marina, sorry for the late reply."

So, what can you do about it?

Develop new skills
→ Need reels? Master video editing.

Set boundaries:
→ understand each other’s needs better.

Talk long-term from day one:
→ discuss collaboration beyond one project.

You need to be flexible: 
→ respond quickly, solve problems, offer solutions.

Communication is key:
→ regular check-ins ensure transparent expectations.

Let’s be real: freelancing isn’t all smooth sailing.  

You’ll face many of these: 

last-minute changes. 
late payments
challenges
rejections


But the: 

growth
freedom
fulfilment
are worth it.

My reminder: be strong.
