I told a client to eat more and train less.

Fighting the 44-Year Cliff: The Science of Taking Back Control in Your Mid-40s

At 44 years old I realised my biggest flex was actually killing me.

I have lived exactly 528 months on this earth.

And for most of them I was destroying my health just to look like I was winning.

I spent years chasing titles, abs and attention.

I thought having the perfect body and the right status meant I was successful.

But behind the scenes I was breaking down both physically and mentally.

I was sacrificing my actual life for the applause of absolute strangers.

My life was eating chicken, broccoli and rice out of Tupperware. 

Avoiding meals out and calling it discipline.

I told myself, I'll change it when I get to where I want to get to. 

The problem is, there's never enough awards or money to feel fulfilled. 

I've learnt that external validation is never the key to feeling fulfilled. 

I see successful business owners do this exact same thing every single day.

You chase the revenue.

You chase the status.

You sacrifice your sleep, your diet and your sanity just to get there.

It is the exact same toxic hustle.

Building a life like this is like driving a supercar while permanently stuck in first gear.
