As your mentor, I see my role as that book you can always open when you need to. I have developed cultures, management, and leaders that are strong, enduring, and resilient. And I've been doing it for nearly 5 decades. If you’re a new manager or thinking about becoming one, I've already been where you're going. When you realize you’re not alone doing anything new, you no longer feel like an imposter. Advising. Because trusted advice provides options for determined decisions. Afraid, confused, intimidated, in fear of making mistakes or what others might think. It can all be debilitating. Good advice based on experience can offer a way out. You’ll no longer be a stranger in a strange land. Supporting. Because I know the struggle is real and ongoing. I understand. A mentor is like a living reference book of experience.
