2018: Matthew Leighton crossed my path while I was knee-deep in a branding project.

I was getting my first startup off the ground and Matt came to the rescue, helping me come up with the perfect tagline for my company.

2024: Fast forward to today, and we’re working alongside our passionate team at Unyfy.

I’ve started applying a new 3 step method to my creative sessions…


I call it the ‘Write Run Reflect” method.

All you need is your notepad, running shoes, and no headphones. ❌

The goal? To think clearly with zero distractions.

1. I write down all my ideas and posts I want to get out on LinkedIn.

2. I throw my running shoes on and I go for a run with these ideas top of mind (you’d be amazed how these ideas evolve on a run).

3. As soon as I get back home, I send myself a voice note and take further notes.

I find in a world full of notifications and distractions, we need to continuously find ways to clear our head and focus on what’s important.

2019: I discover the most underrated personal growth strategy ⤵


Failing. 

It's a word that sends shivers down many a spine, leaving them paralysed with fear and doubt.

But what if I told you that failure could actually be the key to unlocking your true potential? 

Yes, you heard me right. 

Failure is the most underrated growth strategy of all.

Picture this: a failed startup. ❌

It was my dream, my passion, and I poured my heart and soul into it. 

But despite my best efforts, it didn't reach the needed critical mass to make it financially viable. 

It stumbled and eventually, it failed.

Did I regret pursuing it? Not one bloody bit.

You see, failure has a funny way of connecting the dots in our lives. 

Through my failed startup, I forged connections that now support our new venture's success.

Thanks to those connections, our new venture has been able to grow rapidly, with a strong support system backing us.

One of the main ways to stand out from the rest is to embrace your own personality and individual energy. 

In my eyes, it’s one of the hardest things to replicate. 

I love being: 

✔ As real as hell with our clients 
✔ Letting them know how I’m feeling in the present 
✔ Pushing them back on things if I feel it’s not right

People want to work with the REAL you, not someone else you’re pretending to be to make others happy. 

My goal for the next 30 years? Just to keep at it!
