My primary goal is to embed the Shipt brand into key authentic cultural moments and social conversations that drive brand advocacy through social influence.

As the department lead, I drive the brand’s influencer and strategic partnership strategies with the goal of increasing brand awareness, earned media value, content creation and brand activation across channels of engagement.

This role requires strong leadership, communications and relationship management skills to deliver comprehensive programs across social media, events, sponsorship activation, and branded content creation that helps drive brand love, advocacy, and cultural relevancy.

-Work with marketing and business development departments to assist in the ideation, identification and execution of influencer partnerships.
- Research and identify key influencers, bloggers and online media at varying levels that align with Shipt’s influencer strategy and goals
-Manage the execution of influencer engagement strategies to support launches and campaigns
- Act as the liaison between influencers and the brand, maintaining a clear channel of contact and nurturing relationships
- Negotiate the best possible investment level to reach determined goals and maintain longterm relationships
- Works closely with social and content stakeholders to optimize and integrate influencer strategies to gain content and influencer activation alignment
- Remain dialed into key influencers and trends in target markets and industry
- Prepare creative and content briefs, in support of marketing campaigns to generate content and promotion across relevant influencer network
- Ensure consistency and accuracy of brand messaging
- Manage influencer relationships and daily outreach, utilizing tools and CRM platform for efficiencies
- Recruit brand ambassadors from social media influencers, fans, and our registered users.

High / Low:

Highs:
- In July we had best revenue and profit month of 2025 
- Signed 12 month renewal to continue building Allbirds Creator Community
- Signed 2x 6 month renewals to continue building The Oodies Uk and AU Creator Community
- Attended one day workshop at Acquisition office in Las Vegas

Lows:
- Over spent clients ad budget and had to reimburse 70% of it (even though it generated a 1.1x ROI)
- Client lost access to their TikTok handle for a day while going through new account setup process (same thing that happened to Sweet Loren's account)
- Client canceled contract after 2 weeks and filed a complaint with TikTok and the BBB over misaligned expectations even after showing proof of proper expectations communicated (it happens)

Reminder to self: Don't get too high on the highs and too low on the lows. Just stay committed to improving a little bit each day.

How can I produce the highest volume of high quality Partnership Ad creators and content at the cheapest price?

If you have a massive budget to pull this off then you have an advantage.

If you don't, you can still beat out the brands that do.

Here's how:

Build a creator community.

Recruit creators to produce content for you on an affiliate basis.

Use content challenges to have more control over the quality of content and reward them for hitting milestones: sales, volume of content, hooks, impressions (test multiple different challenges with the goal of producing the 
type of content that you want to run inside your ad account)

Funnel top creators and content into Meta partnership ads. 

Affiliate is the mechanism that produces a high volume of content at the most efficient cost. 

Grow your affiliate revenue over time to offset the total cost of building a creator community = you have a Zero-Cost Partnership Ad Funnel producing ads for free every single month.

Why $50M+ consumer brands are investing in DTC creator communities:

It produces a Net-Zero Partnership Ad Funnel (NZPAF) that produces more content to scale Meta than any other creator marketing strategy.

What is a NZPAF? A creator marketing system where creator affiliate revenue  completely offsets the total costs of building and operating a creator community, while funding the production of Meta partnership ads.

Why is that important? Partnership Ads are the biggest opportunity for brands looking to improve performance on Meta - partnership ads reduce CAC by 19% and increase brand lift by 71%.

Here's how to build a NZPAF to get an advantage on your competitors in the next 12 months:

Year 1: Investment Phase
Recruit and onboard 100 creators monthly 
Commission structure: 15% of attributed sales
Platform and agency fee's: $15K/mo 
Target: Affiliate revenue should offset total community costs by month 12 

Year 2+: Achieve Net-Zero Partnership Ad Funnel
- 500 pieces of content posted monthly
- 10% of content qualifies for partnership ads
- The economics: Total affiliate revenue covers all community costs 
- Example: $50K monthly affiliate revenue vs. $50K total community costs (commissions, agency fee's, platform fee's, seeding, and licensing fee's)

Result: 50 partnership ads monthly at net-zero incremental cost

The MER impact: Traditional approach: Pay $500 per partnership ad out of marketing budget. For 50 ads monthly, that's $25K in out of pocket creator fee's.

Creator community approach: Affiliate revenue funds the same 50 partnership ads at breakeven or even profitably. 

Result: Higher MER  because you're generating the same volume of high-performing partnership ads without the traditional up front creator fee's eating into your marketing spend.

Where brands get it wrong? They don't see a positive ROI in months 4-6 and pull the plug. This strategy requires 6-12+ months to unlock a meaningful improvement in MER.

What other creator strategy has this big of an arbitrage while supporting your biggest money maker (Meta Ads)?

These are 2 of the most important metrics to measure when building a creator community and nobody is talking about them.

Metric #1:
CPPA (Cost Per Partnership Ad):
This metric reports on how much it costs to produce partnerships from your creator community.

Calculation: 
Revenue - Total cost (seeding + cogs + commissions/incentives + agency fees) / total ads launched 

12 month example:
- Generates $250k in affiliate revenue
- Costs $280k all in to build and manage the community 
- It produces 300 partnership ads (25 ads/ mo)

$250k Rev - $280k Costs / 300 ads = $100 CPPA

The goal is to net out to a $0 CPPA

Metric #2: Total Influencer Payouts:

Calculated by Total commissions + incentives + bonuses + influencer fee's / total influencers paid

The secret to success for the best Creator Communities is correlated to how much $$$ the creators are making. Align their incentives with your top outcomes and focus on how to get them paid as much as possible. 

If you can get you CPPA to $0 AND grow your monthly Total Influencer Payouts you'll win.
