I just celebrated 15 years with my wife.

Conflict isn’t the problem. Silence is.

It’s not about talking more.. it’s about saying what matters with clarity, presence, and love.

I’ve seen poor communication bankrupt marriages and businesses.

4. 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿 𝘀𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗲.

I used to chase outcomes.

Now I train myself to be here, fully.. in the meeting, the mission, the moment.

Whether I’m holding space for a founder or sharing time with my wife, presence is the secret to peace and performance.

5. 𝗦𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝘀𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴.

I had to unlearn inherited limits.. fears, beliefs, and patterns passed down from others as facts.

Real love and real leadership both thrive in abundance thinking.

You can’t build what you’re too scared to imagine.

6. 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝘆 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝗶𝘁’𝘀 𝗼𝘅𝘆𝗴𝗲𝗻.

I prune people and environments that drain me.

Not out of ego.. out of necessity.

Whether it’s toxic people, outdated habits, or low-vibe convos, boundaries are love in action.

7. 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗰𝗮𝗻’𝘁 𝗱𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗮 𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗸.

My wife is that rock.

You need someone (or something) outside your own mind that keeps you grounded and honest.

Even execs need counsel. Especially founders.

8. 𝗟𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗱.

Not found. Not downloaded.

They’re forged in fire, failure, friction.. and they require relentless intentionality.

You don’t “fall into” a great relationship or scale a business by accident. You choose, again and again.

And that’s the secret to legacy.
Not just building big..
But building well.

With love, presence, and a mindset strong enough to weather every storm.
