I have served Indian Air Force for 23 years and held various leadership positions including heading (commanded) two premier Indian Air Force Units delivering excellence, around Operations and Training. I have worked as part of Capital Acquisition and Perspective Planning team, focused into identification, customization and procurement of Weapon System.

I have held leadership positions in Corporate World for 12 years in Telecom Infrastructure and in Energy/Smart Meter Industry. My exposure around Military and Corporate Leadership has helped me to practice Leadership Qualities, strengthening Value System, and establishing framework for Uniform way of Working (UWoW) to deliver Excellence and Customer Delight. 

I help the people and businesses, struck and facing transition, to transform and achieve goals, by aligning the 'purpose to performance' through Coaching, Mentoring and Consulting interventions. 

I am the Regional Director of a Business Consulting Firm named The Alpha Group International, to support SMEs to transform their business.

𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐨 𝐝𝐫𝐨𝐩

Take decisions around what to drop, as you pick up something new in order to shape your life. Intent is to avoid getting overwhelmed, in addition to travel light. Not taking decision, is a big and costly decision here as it allows the status quo.

To create space for the essentials, those would support in your journey, you need to identify and let go of things. These could include habits, beliefs, relationships, etc those are not aligned to your purpose anymore, conflicts with your values, belief, and principle. 

Once you decide on “why” and “what”, then comes the “when”, and strategy to prioritise, are: 

# Identify what matters most: Take time to reflect on what is most important to you. This can include your values, goals, aspirations, relationships, and whatever. And it allows you to part with your “love of possession”, as most of these do simply fill up space.

# Assess the impact: Consider the impact that each item on your list, has on your life. Ask yourself open questions, allow introspection, actively listen to your inner self and allow the honest feedforward to sink in and sign off. 

# Consider the effort required: Dropping certain habits, relationships, or beliefs may require significant effort, while some may be easier to let go of. Consider the amount of time, energy, and resources required to make each changes, and take action. 

# Be mindful of the consequences: Consider the potential consequences. Dropping certain habits or relationships may have deep consequences on your mental or emotional well-being, atleast in the short term, while some may have positive effects, as well. 

# Seek support: If you are struggling to prioritise what to drop, seek support from friends, family, therapist or coach. They may offer valuable professional insights or perspectives to help you make the best decision. No one is right or wrong here. It's your life, own it well. 

Be patient and compassionate with yourself throughout the process, and trust your instincts and intuition. Such decisions are mostly unique, especially when you allow your experiences to pass through the filters of space, time and context, to make it relevant.
