In July of 2024, I walked away from a secure, high-paying job to start TopHealth. Why? Because of two big realizations that hit me square in the face. The first came from solving my own frustration. After more than a decade in healthcare, I realized something glaring: there’s no exclusive media network for healthcare. Sure, there’s YouTube and the usual social platforms — but healthcare needs something more focused, something built just for “Healthcare”. The second? Marketing in healthcare hasn’t caught up with the rest of the world. Marketing has evolved. Today, a brand’s first interaction with its audience isn’t through a Google search—it’s through a clip on social media. It’s the feeling someone gets from a story they resonate with. That’s where brands are built now, and that’s where trust is earned. At TopHealth, we’re bringing this new wave of marketing to the healthcare. I’ve spent the last decade as a CMO/VP Marketing for venture capital-backed companies, growing them to millions in revenue. And I can tell you one thing: the secret sauce is storytelling. Not just storytelling for the sake of it, but storytelling as a business strategy — one that’s embedded in media, designed to drive real impact and revenue. We work with everyone in the healthcare ecosystem from providers to companies, and even build custom media strategy for building a sales pipeline specifically for B2B companies. This is the vision behind TopHealth: a media network that not only elevates brands but connects them with their audience in ways that traditional healthcare marketing never could. So, here’s to shaking up the status quo! -- Having spent 15+ years in marketing, all in startups, I have gained a wealth of experience and knowledge about building growth engines from scratch and scaling B2B startups to millions of dollars in revenue. As a revenue, brand, and demand generation leader, I have built repeatable and scalable marketing growth engines for B2B, SAAS, and health-tech startups. I advise early stage startups on their growth strategies and also support them as a fractional CMO. Marketing is my second career. I am an engineer with an MBA. I have transitioned from a 8-year career in software engineering at fortune 100 companies like Verizon and Oracle to early-stage startup marketing. Along the way, I have been fortunate with experience working and living on three continents, South Asia, Europe, and North America, and gaining a unique perspective on global marketing, team building, and culture.
