- Smashed both Qualified Pipeline and Marketing Sourced Revenue goals by over 100% every year.

- Built a cupcake (gifting) ABM campaign for all key markets and generated over $2m in sales pipeline in 5 months. 
- Launched the first local meetup in NYC (at no cost by finding sponsors) with around 55 attendees from 35 plus companies. Generated around $500K in the pipeline from the event.
- Achieved ~20% QoQ revenue growth
- Launched the local community of a target segment in New York City - Office Heroes League (built the Linkedin group to 150 members).

Having spent 13+ years in marketing, all in startups, I have gained a wealth of experience and knowledge about building growth engines from scratch and scaling B2B startups to millions of dollars in revenue. 

As a revenue, brand, and demand generation leader, I have built repeatable and scalable marketing growth engines for B2B, SAAS, and health-tech startups. 

My current role is Chief Growth Officer at a healthcare startup in New York and I advise a few startups on their growth strategies on the side.  

Marketing is my second career.  I am an engineer with an MBA. I have transitioned from a 8-year career in software engineering at fortune 100 companies like Verizon and Oracle to early-stage startup marketing.

Along the way, I have been fortunate with experience working and living on three continents, South Asia, Europe, and North America, and gaining a unique perspective on global marketing, team building, and culture.

"The days are long, but the years are short."

6-month ago, I read a thought-provoking piece by Sahil Bloom: "The Paradox of Time".

He eloquently described how we often fail to appreciate the value of our time until it's too late, despite its undeniable finiteness. I was struck by this sobering realization.

Sahil's message focuses on a simple yet profound truth: "The days are long, but the years are short."

Life is a complicated journey in which we must acknowledge trade-offs, question our assumptions, and ask the hard questions.

Having a sense of purpose and fulfilment comes from recognizing the finite nature of life.

It's been a bumpy year for us as a family due to health related issues. 

Yet, these moments have left our hearts brimming with gratitude.

The extended time with my parents has been a rarity for me.

To truly appreciate the value of our time, we often need a wake-up call.
Make the most of the moments we have while we can.

This is a picture of us today, taking the time to make memories - as we celebrated Holi. The festival of colors.

Honestly, if you're looking to build personal network and deeper relationships, X/Twitter is way more powerful than LinkedIn.

Responding to tweets is way more powerful mode of 1-to-1 communication than comments on the LinkedIn post. 

They are way more intimate mode of communication than the comments on the LinkedIn post.

Thanks to how X's visibility is setup, there is more authentic content shared. 
Less filters, less fluff.

Your comments on someone's tweets or your own - do not show up on your follower's feed, which kind of makes people go about their commentary more naturally. More real talk.

The B2B Marketing fundamentals have remained the same for years - but the “Awareness-Consideration-Conversion” methodology doesn't work anymore.

There is a need for a new alternative to the old methodology in the digital era.

We live in a world where getting attention isn't as easy as it once was. 

The best marketers have a knack for getting the attention of their audience and cutting through the clutter.

They know - “Attention” is the most valuable currency in the digital age. 

"Attention" will keep you from being scrolled past.

When you capture someone's attention, you have the chance to make a lasting impression.

A decade ago, the only meaning of the moment of digital attention was - transactional.

It's a fact that today's buyer behavior ignores the sales crap.

To succeed in B2B Marketing, the moment of attention must be transformed from a “transaction” to “value creation”. 

“Value” is what leaves a lasting impression.

When you create "value" for a prospect in your initial interaction, you give yourself a chance to be remembered.

The prospect's chance of returning to you increases when you are remembered.
This is how you build brand affinity.

As soon as you establish affinity, you can influence behavior to achieve the desired outcomes.

You could make the audience take the desired actions.

To succeed in the digital age, it is necessary to transform “Marketing 101” from “Awareness-Consideration-Conversion” to “Attention-Affinity-Action”.

It's what I like to call AAA (Triple A).

The focus is no longer on the transaction, rather it is on building a relationship with the buyer.

The best B2B brands in the world are champions of AAA (Triple A).

Rather than focusing solely on a transaction, they recognize the value of building affinity.

Attention -> Affinity -> Action

Time to get past the old methodology, and focus on “AAA (Triple A)”. Period.
